‘B’ is For? <\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

As it is the first Monday of the month we are showacsing a particular company and this week we are all using some fabulous Brutus Monroe Products\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>This is our first time showcasing his products and we have all fallen in love! his designs are awesome!<\/p>\n

The lovely folks over at<\/span>\u00a0Simon Says Stamp<\/span><\/a>\u00a0are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the \u00a0<\/span>Simon Says Stamp Store!\u00a0<\/span><\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Ann Barnes aka Aksbarchitect<\/a> into\u00a0the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat! Please hop on over to say ‘Hi’ and leave her a lovely comment.<\/p>\n

Ann<\/a>\u00a0has created a blustery blizzard\u00a0<\/span>etcetera tag<\/a>\u00a0using\u00a0<\/span>distress oxide inks<\/a>, die cut snowflakes from Tim Holtz\u00a0<\/span>flurry 2<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>flurry 3<\/a>, and\u00a0<\/span>paper snowflakes mini<\/a>; and a\u00a0<\/span>vignette frame<\/a>\u00a0to set the scene. Brutus Monroe\u00a0<\/span>clear acrylic bubbles<\/a>\u00a0are scattered amidst the flurries. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a>\u00a0made two bright books using a boy-shaped stencil.\u00a0 She added swirls and smudges of color with Brutus Monroe’s Aqua Pigments in Yellow<\/a> and Blue Green<\/a>.\u00a0 The notebook, which Andrea cut in half, is a Prima Mixed Media Traveler’s Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>\u00a0made a space-themed wall-hanger for her boys, turning the Brutus Monroe Monster Party<\/a> characters into aliens. She also used Brutus Monroe Milky Way embossing powder<\/a>, and the Glitter Flat Back Bubbles<\/a>, among other things, to create this happy space party, which glows in the dark.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

<\/a>Barbara<\/a>‘s favorite color is Blue! She created a Christmas tag based on this color using in her background Brutus Monroe Mermaid Tail Embossing Powder<\/a>\u00a0for a starry sky. To complete her tag she added a Christmas tree from Tim Holtz stamp set\u00a0 Inventor 5<\/a> and two cute Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a>\u00a0was inspired by ‘B’to make a bright birthday card using Brutus Monroe Birthday Surprise Faux Sprinkles<\/a>\u00a0along with the CZ Design Birthday Palooza stamps<\/a> and wafer dies<\/a>. The sprinkles were attached to each cake with a Lawn Fawn Glue Tube.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0chose ‘B’ for book and created a vintage style Christmas Planner that she can use throughout December. She added Brutus Monroe Clear Acrylic Bubbles<\/a> to her Tim Holtz Woodland Tree<\/a>, together with a Paper Doll<\/a>, a Christmas Baseboard<\/a> and Quote Chip<\/a> to complete the scene.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a>\u00a0chose “B” for Baubles created with Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Whimsy Decor<\/a>\u00a0Thinlits. She used Brutus Monroe Mermaid Lagoon paper<\/a> as a background, stamped Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Swirly Snowflakes<\/a> with Distress Oxide inks and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Icicle<\/a> and Alabaster<\/a>\u00a0Ultra Fine Embossing Powders.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>made a birthday card using black cardstock and ink blending<\/span>! She used a Brutus Monroe Birthday Memories Clear Stamp Set<\/a> and Birthday Circle Mixed Media Stencil\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>\u00a0blasted off into space and made a book using Eileen Hull’s Sizzix Wrapped Journal die <\/a>\u00a0Brutus Monroe’s Blast Off stencil\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0along with his Tangled Waves stencil<\/a>\u00a0and Aqua Pigments in shades of blue like the Blue Green.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media “Be Unique” tag using Brutus Monroe Clear Stamps Rockstar Pets<\/a>\u00a0and added sentiments with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Text Remnant Rubs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made a Blue Butterfly Birthday card using Brutus Monroe Butterfly Garden Paper Pad<\/a>, Blue Foil<\/a>, Broken China Distress Oxide<\/a> and lots other products not starting with a B.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n
