As we are celebrating Thanksgiving here in the US on November 22nd we thought it would be nice to have a challenge dedicated to being thankful!<\/p>\n

Jo<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>created this art journal page by stamping\u00a0<\/span>Tim Holtz Leaf Prints Stamps<\/a>\u00a0using eleven different colours from the\u00a0<\/span>Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>range to fill the page with fall colour, then she covered some of these leaves with\u00a0<\/span>Glossy Accents<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to add some shine. She also made her own bunting using\u00a0Tim Holtz idea-ology Airmail Paper String<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Simon Says Stamp Cream Card Stock<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Authentique Paper<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Andrea<\/a> utilized both the positive and negative acorn shapes she cut out with Right At Home’s Quirky Acorns die set<\/a> on her “Give Thanks” tag.\u00a0 She used the corresponding Quirky Acorns stamp set<\/a> and Altenew’s Halftone stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>\u00a0started out planning to do an autumn themed project, but was inspired by a photo of a flower which is often called a weed, and ended up doing a cheerful scrapbooking layout about thankfulness instead. Various Sizzix embossing folders<\/a> were used, in combination with stamps such as Darkroom Door Garden Birds<\/a> and Nature Walk<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> created an Etcetera tag<\/a> using mixed media technique. She was inspired by Tim Holtz Sizzix Skeleton leaves<\/a> , Tim Holtz Sizzix Shadow Script 2<\/a> and Idea ology Paper Dolls<\/a>. She painted her project with Paper Artsy Infusions<\/a> and Distress crayons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a thankful card using her favorite fall Distress Ink colors and Simon Says Stamp Plank Background<\/a>. She added some Sizzix Tim Holtz Skeleton Leaves<\/a> and CZ DesignThankful<\/a> die to finish her card along with a sentiment from the CZ Design 30 Days of Thankful<\/a> set embossed in white.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0made a thank you card using the Sizzix Skeleton Leaves by Tim Holtz<\/a> to create her focal point, together with a cluster of red berries made from Baubles<\/a> inked with Cranberry Alcohol Ink. The leaves were layered onto matts of Metallic Kraft Stock<\/a> and Classic Kraft Stock Paperie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> created a set of Thank You cards to gift to a friend using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Nature’s Wonder<\/a> and Craze and Planks<\/a> stamp sets and created the sentiments using Simon Says Stamp Script Thanks Die<\/a> and Big Thanks Words stamp set<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0made a rustic style thankful card using a Tim Holtz 3D Lumber Texture Fades Embossing Folder<\/a>, a Simon’s Exclusive Thanks and Leaves Clear Stamp Set\u00a0<\/a> and Thankful Die\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a> made a warm and brownish Thank You card using Tim Holtz Sizzix Globe<\/a> die, colored the backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> and embossed the sentiment taken from Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>\u00a0made place cards for her family’s Thanksgiving dinner with the Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit<\/a>, Photo Play Fall Breeze<\/a> paper pad, and the Simon Says Stamp Ornate Leaves stamp set.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to created a mixed media tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Celebration Words Script Thinlits Die<\/a> for the sentiment, and Fall Foliage Thinlits Die<\/a> to decorate the tag.<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made a Thanks card using Crackle Paste<\/a> with the Spaced Dots stencil<\/a>, and to give color to her background she used Infusions<\/a>, Shimmer Powder Atlantic Burst <\/a>and as base Opal Magic Green-Gold Paint<\/a>

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used Prima Marketing Metallic Accents<\/a> and Finetec Mica Watercolor Pearlescent Palette<\/a>\u00a0to color Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves<\/a>\u00a0and decor this little wood panel<\/p>\n
