Thank you for joining us for the Monochrome Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to make a tag!<\/p>\n

TAG IT!<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

You can choose to make a tag, or add a tag to a creation!<\/p>\n

As it is the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a particular brand. This week we are showcasing some fabulous Tim Holtz Products<\/a>. I am sure you will all have some of his awesome products in your crafty drawers and we can’t wait to see what you will choose to use!!<\/p>\n

The lovely folks over at<\/span>\u00a0Simon Says Stamp<\/span><\/a>\u00a0are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the \u00a0<\/span>Simon Says Stamp Store!\u00a0<\/span><\/a>All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week\u2019s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! This week we are welcoming the lovely Tenia Nelson,<\/a> aka Jazzy Paper Designs<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited Tenia’s blog<\/a> before then you are in for a real treat! Please bop by to say ‘Hi’ and leave some love!<\/p>\n

Tenia\u00a0<\/a>created this fun tag using ink blending and splatter techniques. The Tim Holtz products she used were Etcetera #8 Tags<\/a> and Freshly Brewed Blueprint Stamp Set<\/a>. This is the biggest tag that she ever created and this was definitely a labour of love but Tenia LOVES a challenge!!<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a tag trio using some of her favorite Tim Holtz products: the Scribbles and Splat<\/a> thinlits die, the Framelits Tag collection<\/a> dies, paperdolls<\/a> and Quote Chips<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>\u00a0made a Halloween tag with lots of texture this week, using Tim Holtz’s Sizzix Tangled Twigs<\/a> for the background. The wise old owl stamp comes from Tim’s Mr Bones set<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> don’t stop to create Halloween projects! This is an Etcetera Small<\/a> tag that she realized using Tim Holtz Inventor 4<\/a> , Mini Paper Stash Halloween Paperie<\/a>, Tim Holtz Tangled Webs<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea ology Halloween Quote Chips.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a>\u00a0used a Medium Etcetera Tag with dies from the\u00a0Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Autumn Sideorder<\/a>, Cutout Upper Bigz XL die<\/a> and Cutout Lower Bigz XL die<\/a>. She combined these with the Woodgrain<\/a>\u00a0and Autumn<\/a> Layering stencils and plenty of Distress Paints and Inks to make her colorful project.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0used a Mini Etcetera Tag<\/a> as the base for her Halloween project and used plenty of Tim Holtz products to tell the story of The Undertaker, including a photo from the Paper Doll Ancestors set,<\/a> Tiny Tattered Florals<\/a>\u00a0entwined around a broomstick<\/a> and a Halloween Vignette Finding<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a>\u00a0jumped ahead to Christmas this week and made a Tag Book to store the new Tim Holtz Christmas Layering and Shifter Stencils<\/a> and used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Glorious Gatherings<\/a>, Music and Advert<\/a> and the Falling Stars Layering Stencil<\/a> to add some textured decoration<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>made a Christmas Tag using a Thinlits tag Die Set<\/a>, a Festive Scribbles Tree<\/a> and a Simon’s Exclusive Retro Deer Die.<\/a>\u00a0For the background she used Alcohol Inks<\/a>, Translucent Yupo Paper<\/a>, Alcohol Lift Ink<\/a> and Sparkles and Christmas Cling Background Stamps<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0made a wanted poster tag using Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 6 die<\/a> word fixed with Tim Holtz Idea-ology Hex Fasteners<\/a>\u00a0and she also made a texture using Tim Holtz Distress Grit Past<\/a>e.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Maura<\/a>\u00a0used Tim Holtz’s Etcetera Tag with Small Tombstone overlay<\/a> to make a Halloween tag. She also used Tim’s Witchcraft<\/a> die and Apothecary Bottles<\/a> die by Sizzix.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media Halloween tag using Tim Holtz Etcetera #8 Tag Chipboard<\/a>\u00a0and decorated it with Idea-ology Paper Doll Ancestors<\/a>\u00a0and Idea-ology Baseboard Frame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> made a Halloween tag using the Tim Holtz\u00a0Halloween Paper Stash<\/a> and collaging the background with it. She did her collaging using Collage Medium <\/a>and around the each edge, she applied Distress Crayon Black Soot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> used Distress Paint<\/a>\u00a0, Tim Holtz Layering stencil Shatter<\/a>\u00a0and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Ephemera Pack HALLOWEEN<\/a> to create this spooky tag!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
