This week we are walking on the wild side with the theme:<\/p>\n

Wild Things\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

This can be interpreted in so many ways! You could use some wild animals, wild flowers, or maybe you would prefer to use wild and funky colours!<\/p>\n

This is Karolina’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous makes over the past month! It has been such a great pleasure to have you along with us!<\/p>\n

Karolina <\/a>“When I see the white canvas, I begin to feel freedom. I can smear, splash, play with background and color. In this project I used Faber-Castell Metallics Gelatos<\/a> and Tonic Nuvo Glitter<\/a>, I love this<\/span>\u00a0combination, \u00a0they work so well together. I used a watercolor brush pen<\/a> for blending, these are ideal for use with Gelatos. For the sentiment I used a Heidi\u00a0<\/span>Swap Magnolia Jane Stamp Set<\/a> and Black Archival Ink<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a wild bird tag with wild patterns and colors.\u00a0 She used AALL & Create’s Quirky Birds<\/a> stamp set, Darkroom Door’s Mesh Large stencil<\/a> and Altenew’s Tree Ring die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>\u00a0made a watercolor scene in her art journal featuring an African moonlit night. The page was colored with Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks<\/a> and stamped with the Darkroom Door African Trees set<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> created a trio of cards using three set inspired by nature: Entomology<\/a>, Flutter<\/a> and\u00a0 Botanical sketch<\/a> from Tim Holtz \/Stampers Anonymous. For the background she used a lot of Alcohol inks<\/a> and Alcohol lift ink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a>\u00a0created a tag to put on a bag of treats from her dog to his favorite cousin. She used Tim Holtz’s Tag Framelits Tag Collection<\/a> and Crazy Dogs stamps<\/a> and dies<\/a> along with the CZ Design Dude die<\/a>\u00a0and Simon Says Stamp Messages for Everyday<\/a> stamps.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0created a journal layout inspired by how moths and insects are attracted by light and used Tim Holtz’s Entomology stamp set<\/a> combined with the Inventor 2 stamp set<\/a> to create the focal point to this page.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kath\u00a0<\/a>created a Wild Jungle background for her Tim Holtz Hipster\u00a0<\/span>Chimp<\/a> card using Simon Says Stamp Folk Dance<\/a>\u00a0stamp, Alcohol Lift Ink,\u00a0<\/a>Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Wildflowers 2<\/a> and Funky Floral 1\u00a0<\/a>Thinlits<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>made a card using a\u00a0 Tim Holtz Hipster\u00a0<\/span>Chimp<\/a>\u00a0and Coordinating Die Set<\/a>. She used \u00a0Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>, a Botanical Background Stamp<\/a> and a Funky Florals Die Set<\/a> for inside the frame and a Simon’s Exclusive Leafy Frame Stencil<\/a>, Distress Resist Spray<\/a> and oxide inks<\/a> for the frame, finishing with a Snarky Small Talk Sticker<\/a> and machine stitching.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a>\u00a0heat embossed the frog from Stampendous Fossil<\/a> stamp set and used a lot of brown shades of Distress Oxide inks<\/a>. For the background she used Tim Holtz Sizzix Botanical 3D<\/a> embossing folder and Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 6<\/a> die.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura <\/a>\u00a0made a notepad cover with winged and rooted wild things, \u00a0using Aall and Create Exterminata Sunt Border stamp<\/a>, Aall and Create Tracy Evans #44 stamp set<\/a> and the Simon Says Stamp Everything Together set.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to make a mixed media tag with some\u00a0bright funky colors, and embossed with Sizzix Lumber 3D Texture Embossing Folder<\/a>\u00a0and added a sentiment using Tim Holtz Pondring Words Thinlits Die<\/a>.\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>went for a grungy wild life scene\u00a0card made with Garden Greens dies<\/a>. To create some texture she used Opaque Crackle Paste<\/a> with Black Soot Distress Paint<\/a> and the Industrial stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Melange Tissue Wrap Paper<\/a> and Cosmic Shimmer Persian Dawn Gilding Flakes<\/a> to decor this ATC.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
