This was a simple shape that stood out because of a fabulous color palette. The subtle dots and splatters in the background were just right and the sentiment was awe-inspiring. The crocheted octopus is my winner of the year! She combined so many different textures like paper, chipboard, fabric, wool, burlap, buttons.
