As we are approaching Father’s Day we thought we would dedicate this challenge to the men\/boys in our lives.<\/p>\n

This is Alison’s <\/a>last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your creations over the past month. It has been a real pleasure having you along with us :-)<\/p>\n

Alison\u00a0<\/a>has been playing with lots of Tim Holtz products. An Inventor Stamp Set<\/a>, the new 3D Foundry Texture Fade<\/a>, Gadget Gears<\/a>, Foundry Adornments<\/a>, Countdown Brads<\/a>.\u00a0 And to echo the inventions, there’s an Idea-ology Monocle<\/a>, one of the lenses in those amazing goggles, and a recycled lightbulb added to the mix.\u00a0 There are some Paper Dolls<\/a> taking the roles of the inventors, and the whole thing is in an inverted 12 x 12 canvas lined with the Dapper Paper<\/a> and altered with the PaperArtsy Crackle Glaze<\/a> treatment round the outside.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a card with a spinning sentiment wheel for any mechanically-minded man to enjoy.\u00a0 She used Lawn Fawn’s Reveal Wheel die cut<\/a> set and the corresponding Reveal Wheel Sentiments stamp set<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a>\u00a0told the story of an adventure at sea, with paint and Tim Holtz stamps<\/a> on a Medium Etcetera Tag<\/a>. The tag was embellished with Sizzix die cut gears<\/a> and idea-ology pieces<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

<\/a>Barbara<\/a> created her project using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini Clipboard<\/a>,\u00a0 Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Inventor 1<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Gearhead<\/a> and Idea-ology Paper Dolls<\/a>. She painted this work with Paper Artsy Infusions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> created an Etcetera Medium Tag<\/a> based on the metal tag in the Tim Holtz Foundry Adorment pack …complete with a ‘company photo’ from the Found Relatives pack and and a background created from the Tim Holtz\/SIzzix Foundry 3D Texture Fade<\/a>\u00a0and different colors of Sizzix Foil Adhesive Sheets<\/a> that she patched together to create a background.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0made a Father’s Day card for her Dad and used the brand new Mechanics<\/a> and Foundry<\/a> 3D Texture Fades from Tim Holtz to create a metallic background, together with Industrial<\/a> die cut gears, a paper doll and a banner created using the Sentiments Word Thinlits Die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath\u00a0<\/a>created a faux wood panel using Tim Holtz Lumber<\/a> and Foundry<\/a> 3-D Texture Fade Embossing Folders, added Idea-ology Collector Layers<\/a>,a dapper gent from Found Relatives<\/a>, Mixed Media<\/a>, Scribbles and Splats<\/a> Thinlits die cuts and Idea-ology Sprocket Gears<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>made a card for her Dad using a Visible Image Ahead Of Our Time Clear Stamp Set<\/a> and Strobes Stencil<\/a>. She stamped the image using Versafine Onyx Pigment Ink<\/a> and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder<\/a>, she then masked the image before stencilling the background with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0made a card for her friend who is a huge fan of fishing. She built this textured fish from scratch and covered it with lots of layers of Ranger Grit Paste<\/a>, Prima Stone Effect Pastes<\/a> and Prima Patina Effect Pastes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura <\/a>\u00a0made adventurous birthday cards for her sons, using AALL and Create’s Stencil 8<\/a>, Visible Image Ahead of Our Time<\/a> and Tim Holtz Theories<\/a> stamps.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Sizzix Die Gadget Gears<\/a>\u00a0and decorated with stamped image using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Travel Ways<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made a Father’s Day card using lots of blue tones like in Distress Faded Jeans<\/a>, Chipped Sapphire<\/a>, Infusions In The Navy<\/a> and Royal Blood<\/a>.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0used the “masculine” Blue tones to create these ATC cards – she also used a couple of The Crafter’s Workshop stencils<\/a> and Distress ink<\/a>to decorate them.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
