Before moving on to the challenge we have some great news! The lovely and super talented Cheiron Brandon<\/a> has re-joined the design team! Welcome back Cheiron<\/a>, we missed you!! :-)<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to create something inside the box! This is open to all sorts of interpretation and we will be looking forward to seeing what you make!<\/p>\n

Inside The Box<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

It’s Bonnie’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous projects that you have made for us over these past few weeks. It has been a great pleasure to have you along with us!<\/p>\n

Bonnie\u00a0<\/a>made a mixed media heart shrine starting with a deep\u00a0<\/span>canvas. The front face of the canvas represents the bright shining heart\u00a0<\/span>I show the world, but the back crevice is a shrine to represent my dark, hidden\u00a0<\/span>heart.\u00a0 The shrine is made with Prima Paper Clay<\/a>, textured with Tammy Tutterow Dear Ruby<\/a> and Hero Arts Old French Writing stamps<\/a> and painted\u00a0<\/span>with Acrylic Paints<\/a>. \u00a0She added more dimension by using Texture Paste\u00a0<\/a>and \u00a0pieces cut from a\u00a0<\/span>Tim\u00a0<\/span><\/a>Holtz Scroll Die.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a box that holds a matching tag notebook.\u00a0 Among other things, she used Dina Wakley’s Weird is Good<\/a> stamp set, Seth Apter’s Ring Around<\/a> die and Altenew’s Halftone<\/a> stencil.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a miniature scene in the smallest of Tim Holtz’s Vignette Boxes<\/a>, and filled it with tiny elements and details. The houses were die cut with the Sizzix Tim Holtz Snowglobe<\/a> and Snowglobe 2<\/a> sets.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a>\u00a0 this week mixed new and old stuff to create a decorative box\u00a0 with\u00a0 Tim Holtz Idea-ology Burlap panel<\/a>, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Vignette Frames<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Mixed Media 5<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Quote Tokens.\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cheiron<\/a> created a Trinket Tin<\/a> inspired by her grandmothers brooch. She decorated the front using Floral Collage Paper <\/a>and Butterflies<\/a> adornment. \u00a0The inside of the box is decorated with Quote Tokens<\/a>\u00a0and a bouquet created with Bouquet Findings flowers colored with Distress Stains.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>‘s Vignette Box<\/a> was inspired by a Tim Holtz Clippings Sticker<\/a> quote, ‘The Power Of Thinking’. She decorated her box, inside and out, using the Inventor 2 Stamp Set<\/a> and the Diamond Plate & Riveted Metal Texture Fade<\/a> to create backgrounds before adding embellishments which included a Vignette Frame<\/a> and a Foundry Adornment.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> decorated an empty Idea-ology Assemblage Clock box with Distress Resist Spray<\/a>, Layering Stencil Flourish<\/a>, Ranger Opaque Crackle Texture Paste<\/a>, Distress Crayons Set 3<\/a> and Idea-ology Botanical Collage Paper<\/a> to store her Dylusions Creative Dyary<\/a> Stamps and Stickers<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols<\/a> has been wanting to have a go at decorating a Vignette Tray<\/a> and this was the perfect time to have a go! Easter\/Spring is a beautiful time of year when the flowers are in bloom and there are bunny rabbits hopping around everywhere! She used a Simon’s Exclusive ‘Oh Bunny’ Stamp Set<\/a> and a Springtime Side Order Dies<\/a>\u00a0to make the rabbits and used Tim Holtz Wildflowers Dies<\/a> to create the meadow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a> went crazy with a flock of colorful butterflies inside her deep brown exploding box. She gave color to the walls mainly with Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain Ground Espresso<\/a> and the vibrancy to the Memory Box Butterfly Ensemble<\/span><\/a>\u00a0a<\/span>nd Sizzix Wildflowers<\/a> with Dylusions Ink Sprays.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> altered a plain gift box and made a spring themed mini album to fit inside. She used Simon Says Stamp’s Artsy Flower Parts<\/a> stamps and Butterflies stencil<\/a>, Carabelle Studio Brigit Koopsen Inspire, Dream Hope<\/a> and Mixed Media Flowers<\/a> stamps, along with lots of Dina Wakley acrylic paints like Lime<\/a> and Tangerine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media box using Tim Holtz Vignette Boxes Structures<\/a>\u00a0and decorated with Idea-Ology Botanical Layers Paperie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>went for making a foamboard box to keep all the vintage photos. She added some texture with Texture Paste<\/a> and the Dotted Stencil<\/a> and gave them color with Distress Spray Stain Cracked Pistachio<\/a> and Peacock Feathers<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/p>\n
