We are saying a sad farewell to Cathie<\/a> this week. Cathie has been a fabulous teammate and inspiration to us all. We would like to thank you for being such a lovely part of the team and we wish you the very best of luck for the future XXX<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to create something using the open roads as your inspiration.<\/p>\n

Road Trip<\/b><\/h2>\n

Bonnie\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>made a\u00a0<\/span><\/span>little journal using a Sizzix Pocket Travelers Notebook Bigz Die.\u00a0<\/a><\/span>She decorated the front using a Tim Holtz Mini Globe Die<\/a> and used vintage maps and Brusho Watercolors.<\/a><\/span>\u00a0She is now really look forward to using this on her next trip!<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a set of travel-themed mini folders using Jane Davenport’s Miss Match<\/a> washi tape, Dylusions paint<\/a>, and the We R Memory Keepers typewriter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a scrapbooking layout this week, about road trips by bike, which often lead to new and unexpected places. She used Ranger’s Gel Printing Plates<\/a>, for the background, together with a whole bunch of stamps by Tim Holtz, such as the Nature’s Discovery<\/a> set.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> was inspired from…. galaxy, it’s a\u00a0 very long road trip! She had much fun creating two cards with a lot of Ranger Alcohol inks<\/a>, Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Sideshow<\/a> and Dapper<\/a> sets, Tim Holtz Sizzix Mini Globe.<\/a><\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created the background for her masculine card using the a Tim Holtz embossing folder with Ranger Foil Sheets<\/a> and Black Soot Distress Ink<\/a>. She used the Tim Holtz\u00a0\u00a0Travel Ways<\/a> stamp set for the focal point. The tag was created using the Tim Holtz\u00a0Tag Tool<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0created a framed panel<\/a> telling the story of a traveler, enjoying his road trip. As her focal point sshe used Tim Holtz’s Dapper stamp set<\/a>\u00a0in a baseboard frame<\/a>\u00a0and layered the image onto ticket paper from the Dapper Paper Stash<\/a>\u00a0before surrounding him with rusty gears.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> took a trip down memory lane to relive happy childhood memories of adventures on her bicycle\u00a0and decorated an Etcetera Medium Tag<\/a> with Memoranda Paper<\/a>, Stacked Deckle<\/a> and Funky Floral 1<\/a> Thinlits,lots of Idea-ology<\/a> and a Memory Box Brand New Bicycle<\/a><\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0made a masculine card using the bicycle stamp from a Tim Holtz Theories Cling Set<\/a>\u00a0for the main focus. For the background she used Broken China<\/a> and Faded Jeans<\/a> Distress Oxide Inks and the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Ride Stamp Set\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Macarena<\/a> is planning her touring trip across Tuscany and she made a road trip card using Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages<\/a> stamp ser for making a roadway, Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder<\/a> an Ranger Transparent Gloss Paste<\/a>. The car is made with Kaisercraft Barber Shoppe<\/a> stamp.<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> is getting desperate for a road trip to a sunny, warm locale and made a tag to express that. She used the Tim Holtz Theories stamp set<\/a> and Brutus Monroe Road Trip stamps<\/a> along with the Tim Holtz Sizzix Traveler Words dies<\/a> and Pink and Main’s Beach Babe paper pack.<\/a><\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired by her recent road trip and created a mixed media tag using Sizzix Mini Old Jalopy & Arrow Dies<\/a> and decorated with Idea-Ology Foundry Adornment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made a masculine birthday card with the fabulous Barber Shoppe<\/a> stamp set, and created texture with the Tiles stencil<\/a>, Texture Paste<\/a> and Mini Art Stones<\/a>

Zoey<\/a> loves the Sea and she always wanted to travel on a boat — so she dreamed about it through her tag. She used distress paint<\/a> to make her background and used Paper Artsy EVERYTHING ART 05 ECLECTICA3 Rubber Cling Stamp<\/a>\u00a0, Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp LIBRARY STAMPS Stampers Anonymous M4-2602 a<\/a>nd Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp BUBBLE DOTS Stampers Anonymous U5-1793<\/a> for her background.<\/p>\n
