This week we are challenging you to create something with birds or feathers, or you might like to think of some other meaning for the phrase!<\/p>\n

Amber<\/a> played in her <\/span>art journal<\/a>\u00a0again using <\/span>embossing paste<\/a>\u00a0she tinted black with paint and\u00a0TCW’s <\/span>Feather<\/a> stencil, Tim Holtz’s <\/span>Chevron stencil<\/a>, and Concord & 9th’s <\/span>Perfectly Penned<\/a> stamp set.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a>\u00a0enjoys her corporate job, but she loves to fly away on vacation whenever the cubicle farm gets too crazy.\u00a0 To make her card trio, she used Jane Davenport’s new Aqua Pastel crayons<\/a>, Tim Holtz’s Cityscape Skyline Dies<\/a>, Reverse Confetti’s Kindness Cards Dies<\/a> and Hero Arts’ Playful Flower Letters<\/a> alphabet stamps.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a bird’s nest this week, including a mix of items from nature that she found on a recent walk. The bird is a Prima Relics and Artifacts Finch<\/a>, and the nest was decorated with various Prima flowers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> had the crazy idea to create a journal mixing different kind of styles! She used Eileen Hull Sizzix JOURNAL BOX ScoreBoards\u00a0<\/a>,\u00a0Spellbinders Seth Apter STEERING WHEEL Etched Dies<\/a>,\u00a0Tim Holtz Sizzix FEATHER AND RAVENS<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp DOILY 1 Stampers Anonymous<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created a card with a quick and easy mixed media background. She used Dina Wakley Scirbble Sticks<\/a>, a Tim Holtz Ledger Script Background Stamp<\/a> and the feathers are from the Tim Holtz Feather & Ravens<\/a> die set.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0was inspired by the definition of ‘Birds Of A Feather’ and created an Etcetera tag<\/a> all about friendship. She used a beautiful image from Tim Holtz’s Found Relatives<\/a> and layered it over the top of various ephemera pieces and a doily die cut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> created a fun whimsical Art Journal Page featuring a flock of cute chubby birds using Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots<\/a>, Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>, Idea-ology Type Lower Foam Stamps<\/a> and French Design Tape<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols <\/a>used a Hero Arts Color Layering Peacock<\/a>\u00a0and coordinating dies<\/a> as the focus of her card, she also used a Peacock Feathers Stencil<\/a> and Paper Artsy Infusions<\/a> along with a Bubble Stencil<\/a> and White Embossing Paste<\/a> to create the background.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>added another pages to her Art Journal. This time she kept them in a soft grey tones using Prima Sparks Raven Black paint<\/a> with a colorful Sizzix Feather Duo die<\/a> inside. For the background she used Tim Holtz Tiles stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> created a funky, colorful page in her Dina Wakley Media Journal<\/a> using Tim Holtz’s Bird Crazy<\/a>, Carabelle Studio’s Les Mini Oufs 2<\/a>, and Paper Artsy’s Jofy Love Birds <\/a>stamps, along with Simon’s own Feathers die<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meih<\/a>sia<\/a> was inspired to make a mixed media art journal page with sprayed background using Tim Holtz Distress Mixed Media Spray<\/a> and decorative bird images from Idea-Ology Botanical Layers Paperie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made an art journal spread using the Scribbly Birds stamp set <\/a>and the Ricket stencil<\/a>\u00a0to create a pattern and add some texture to the background
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a>\u00a0loves feathers, they are magical to her and so she had so much fun playing with Distress Spray Stain<\/a> to create this tag<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
