This week we are challenging you to create something with a spot of blue somewhere on your creation.<\/p>\n

Winter Blues\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

Andrea<\/a> wanted to beat the winter blues by incorporating Tim Holtz’s Wildflowers die<\/a> into her tag notebooks.\u00a0 She also used Simon Says Stamp’s Circle Loops die<\/a>\u00a0and American Crafts paperclips<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a mini canvas inspired by the dreary, rainy weather during Christmas and New Year, with added imaginary snow. A really blue weather, but without any blue at all, just lots of grey. She used Hero Arts Winter Silhouettes stamp set<\/a> on Ranger Dina Wakley’s smallest Media Board<\/a> (3 x 3 in).<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> made a tag inspired by colors of the winter. She used for the\u00a0 background Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Sparkles and Christmas set <\/a>, Tim Holtz stampers Anonymous Runaway set<\/a>. Idea-ology Frozen Findings<\/a>\u00a0 and Ranger Distress Dry Glitter Clear Rock Candy<\/a> to create embellishments for\u00a0 her project.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created a card reminding her of the long winter days growing up in Wisconsin. She used the Tim Holtz Snowglobe #2<\/a>, Tree Line<\/a> and Small Tattered Florals<\/a> die sets to create the main elements for her card.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>‘s icy blue panel was inspired by long walks in the woods on cold, frosty days. She used a combination of Tim Holtz dies including the Winter Wonderland<\/a> and Mini Holiday Greens<\/a> to create a scene placed on a textured background created with the Starry Layering Stencil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> used Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Gift Card Package<\/a>, Swirly Snowflakes Framelits<\/a> and Festive Greens Thinlits<\/a> to make gift card holders for January Birthdays<\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>used an Eileen Hull Sizzix Journal Box Die <\/a>to make a note\/travel book. She used Faded Jeans<\/a> and Cracked Pistachio<\/a> Distress Oxide Inks, a Tim Holtz Bubble Layering Stencil,<\/a><\/a>\u00a0Fluted Stars Idea-ology <\/a>\u00a0and a Spellbinders Seth Apter Robo Rings Die Set<\/a> to decorate the cover.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>made a card with a note to self. She used the set of Stay Strong die by Simon Says Stamp<\/a> as the focal point and for the background she embossed the panel with one of WeR Geometric Embossing Folders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> was thinking about how many of us get the winter blues, even animals. She made an art journal page with Carabelle Studio’s Chameleon stamp<\/a>, using lots of blues like Simon Says Stamp’s Zen cube<\/a> and Peerless Watercolors<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media card using Sakura Koi Watercolors<\/a> on the background and stamped the trees with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>made a winter blue(s) inspired birthday card, using Spellbinder Ferns dies<\/a> and Nuvo Mousses Pacific Teal<\/a>, Old Navy<\/a>, Aquamarine <\/a>and Seaspray Green<\/a>.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey <\/a>used Loew Cornell Watercolor Cakes<\/a>\u00a0to create this Mixed Media TAG<\/p>\n
