This week we are challenging you to think about all things Halloween or use dark colours on your project.<\/p>\n

A Walk On The Dark Side\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/h1>\n

This week we are showcasing Tim Holtz Products<\/a>. You don’t have to use them in your project but if you have them we would love to see them used!<\/p>\n

This week we are welcoming the lovely and super talented Wanda Hentges<\/a> aka Art By Wanda<\/a> into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat! please pop by to say ‘Hi’!<\/p>\n

Wanda\u00a0<\/a>has used black cardstock and <\/span>Distress Paint<\/span><\/a> to create a canvas panel incorporating several Tim Holtz products. She used <\/span>Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Wildflower dies<\/span><\/a> a\u00a0<\/span>Flourish Embossing Folder<\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>Photobooth image<\/span><\/a>, a <\/span>Quote Chip<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Tim Holtz\/Stamper’s Anonymous stencils<\/span><\/a>, Regular and Oxide <\/span>Distress Inks<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> turned fa-la-la to mwahh-ha-ha by using Tim Holtz’s Home for the Holidays<\/a> die for her Halloween card.\u00a0 She made the car’s passengers out of his\u00a0Trick-or-Treat<\/a> thinlits die and added some patterning to the background using his Dot Fade<\/a> stencil.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a Halloween shadow box and had such fun creating a starry sky background and adding lots of details. She used Tim Holtz Haunted House<\/a> stamp set, as well as lots of idea-ology embellishments, such as Skulls<\/a>, Heirloom Roses<\/a> and Ancestors Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> this week has created a very dark card inspired by Tim Holtz and Halloween! She used a\u00a0Haunted House<\/a>\u00a0and Pumpkinhead<\/a>\u00a0Cling Stamp Sets,\u00a0Halloween Deco sheets<\/a> and a\u00a0\u00a0Window and Windowbox Die Set<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created a card using the Tim Holtz Undertaker<\/a> and Webs<\/a> stamp sets. The see through image is embossed on plastic so the beautiful colors of the Distress Ink<\/a> background show through.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Emma’s<\/a>\u00a0wickedly dark burlap panel<\/a> was dyed black using Black Soot Distress Spray Stain<\/a> and embellished with many items from Tim Holtz’s Halloween release including corked vials<\/a>, a Halloween Paper Doll<\/a>, skulls<\/a> and Typography Letters<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> used Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Monstrous<\/a>,\u00a0Scared Silly<\/a>\u00a0and Skulls and Cobwebs<\/a> stamp sets to make a Monstrous-ly Scary Halloween Treat Bag<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols<\/a> made a spooky card using a Haunted House Cling Stamp Set<\/a>, a Village Graveyard Die Set<\/a> and a Moonlit Owl Die.\u00a0<\/a>For the background she blended a selection of the fabulous Distress Oxide Inks\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>is not a fan of Halloween craziness so she stayed with just dark colors and Tim Holtz amazing products. She made a dark but optimistic card with a cool texture made with Cityscape Skyline<\/a> die and Leafy <\/a>stencil. She embellished it only with a Paper Doll <\/a>and Botanical <\/a>butterflies and of course Quote Chips<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> wrote a dark tale about White the Druggist and laid him to an uneasy rest in his Vignette Coffin Tray by Tim Holtz<\/a>, where he is surrounded by spooky images from Tim’s Halloween Ephemera pack<\/a> and Ancestor Paper Dolls.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> created a mixed media tag for Halloween decor with Distress Crackle Paint<\/a> on the background and used\u00a0Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack<\/a>\u00a0to embellish the tag.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>went for walk on the dark side with her Halloween<\/a> card transforming the Time Traveler<\/a> into a creepy vampire. She colored him in with different colors of Distress Ink<\/a> and Distress Oxide<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> used Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Found Relatives Portraits\u00a0<\/a>and some Distress Oxide<\/a> to create this spooky tag<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
