Thank you for joining us for the Shimmer and Shine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.<\/p>\n

This week we are challenging you to add metal to your project. This can either be a metal charm, element, string or metallic embossing etc.<\/p>\n

Heavy Metal\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h1>\n

you can use metal embellishments for example, charms, or metallic embossing powders, card stock, foils etc.<\/p>\n

It is Carol’s <\/a>last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous creations over the past few weeks! It has been a great pleasure having you along with us!<\/p>\n

Carol\u00a0<\/a>went as\u00a0<\/span>metallic as possible in a monochromatic colorway, using Sizzix Stitched Rectangles<\/a> and Cityscape Skyline Dies. <\/a>\u00a0She also used Tim Holtz\u00a0Gears Embossing Folder<\/a>, \u00a0Regions Beyond StampSet<\/a> \u00a0and lots of metallic papers <\/a><\/span><\/span>to create this fabulously spooky Halloween card<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> bound her Halloween notebook with a metal coil and her Cinch<\/a> machine. \u00a0She used Tim Holtz’s Artful Dwellings<\/a> die for the house and Impression Obsessions’s Witch Line<\/a> die for the witch-topped bookmark inside.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a Halloween tag this week, using lots of clear and metallic<\/a> embossing powders. There are also metallic idea-ology embellishments<\/a>, and metallic paint <\/a>and alcohol ink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> created an Halloween \u00a0card with an heavy metal background! She used Ranger foil cardstock<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Claw Marks<\/a>, Tim Holtz Sizzix Lost Zombie<\/a> and Tim Holtz Sizzix Textured Fades Diamond and Riveted metal.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> added Prima Mechanicals Rustic Washers<\/a> and Mini Knobs<\/a> to her Autumn panel. The flowers are created using the Tammy Tutterow Frayed Posies<\/a> die set.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0created a spooky clipboard<\/a> to include in her Halloween decorations for this year. She used lots of metal elements including a metal foil tape panel<\/a>\u00a0embossed with the Riveted Metal Texture Fade<\/a>, a Baroque frame<\/a> and a mini pocket watch<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> added metallic touches to her traditional red and green Christmas card using Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Layered Tattered Poinsettia<\/a> die cut from gold Metallic Kraft Stock<\/a> and gold embossing using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Sparkles and Christmas<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols <\/a>made a Christmas tag using a Dear Santa Stamp and Stencil Dylusions Set <\/a>along with Silver Metallic Card<\/a>\u00a0Silver String<\/a>, Sparkle Dust<\/a>, Deco Tape<\/a> and a snowflake charm to add some heavy metal!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>made a very embossed Xmas card using 3 metallic details: Mini Stars<\/a> by Prima and the Tim Holtz Typed Token<\/a>, she also spritzed the background with Metallique Blackberry Paint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> transformed a peanut butter jar into a metallic steampunk brush jar using Memory Box Large Steampunk Pipes<\/a>, Prima’s Emerald Green Metallique paint<\/a>, and Fairy Wings Sparks<\/a>, along with the Simon Says Stamp Stencil Ring Cluster.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a Halloween mixed media tag using Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack<\/a>,\u00a0and colored with Distress Paints<\/a> and Distress Ink Stain<\/a> for the metallic effect.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a>\u00a0 is hooked on making Halloween cards at the moment. She painted the collaged washi tape background with Black Soot Distress Paint<\/a> and used Metallique<\/a> and Opal Magic<\/a> Wax for creating the heavy metal look.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> used distress paint<\/a>\u00a0,Tim Holtz Idea Ology Arrows<\/a>\u00a0and Tim Holtz Idea Ology Paper Dolls<\/a> to decorate this ATC<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
