Hi there! Mona Pendleton<\/a> here to show you how to create a beautiful vintage cameo using the following products: stamps<\/a>, dies<\/a> and embossing enamel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To begin, I stamped the female silhouette image on the coordinating die cut piece then applied Distress Ink tea dye around the perimeter:<\/p>\n

Apply VersaMark ink to stamped cameo die cut piece, emboss using embossing enamel. Repeat step 4-6 times creating a thick layer of embossed enamel on cameo.<\/p>\n

This is what your cameo should look like. Now, place cameo in the freezer for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

Now, gently bend the embossed cameo until you have the desired crackled look that appeals to you.<\/p>\n

To create ornate piece to frame your cameo, stamp the frame image using VersaMark ink on coordinating die cut piece, emboss using embossing enamel then apply Distress Ink tea dye around the perimeter.<\/p>\n

Once I made the crackled cameo and frame, I used them as the focal point on my canvas and embellished with a variety of die cut flowers and foliage.<\/p>\n
