It is Simona’s<\/a> last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous projects you have made for us over the past month. It has been a real pleasure having you along with us!<\/p>\n

Simona\u00a0<\/a>for her last project, created a Shadow Box with an ‘Old Prairie’ sort of look, having fun with some of her favorite Tim Holtz’s goodies: Paper Dolls<\/a>, Quote Chips<\/a>, Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>, Distress Crayons<\/a> and much more<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a notebook praising clever girls everywhere. \u00a0She used Dina Wakley’s Gals and Borders<\/a> stamp set, a Simon Says Stamp Hydrangea Petals<\/a> die and some fabulous Tim Holtz Journey<\/a> Washi tape.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> made a project she had been thinking about for a long time, namely a miniature bookshelf, filled with handmade books, words and ephemera. The base is a Tim Holtz Vignette Tray<\/a> and the books were made from grungepaper<\/a>, sticky-back canvas<\/a> and scraps of paper.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> thinks that reading is an indispensable thing! This week has created two vintage bookmarks with Paper Dolls<\/a>, Distress Oxide<\/a> and Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Numeric.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created a cute card where the sweet but confused dog is surprised that summer is over and school is just around the corner. She used the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs<\/a>\u00a0and Schoolhouse Blueprints<\/a> stamp sets for the main images and the Tim Holtz Plaid<\/a> stamp along with Faded Jeans<\/a> and Fired Brick<\/a> Oxides for the background.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma’s<\/a>\u00a0panel was inspired by the papers from the Memoranda Paper Stash by Tim Holtz<\/a>. She added layers of Collector Ephemera<\/a>, a ruler piece<\/a> and a Paper Doll<\/a> sitting on a pile of stamped books<\/a> to complete the project.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> created a Back To School Notebook for those all important notes using Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Mini Blueprints 8<\/a>, Ideaology\u00a0Paper Dolls<\/a>, Alpha Transparent Tiles<\/a>, Ruler Pieces<\/a> and Type Lower Foam Stamps<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols<\/a>\u00a0decorated a page in her Dyan Reaveley Creative Dyary\u00a0<\/a>using Simon’s Exclusive Hybrid Ink Cubes<\/a> to swipe across the page. She also used a \u00a0Creative Dyary Die Cut<\/a> and a To Thine Own Shelf Stamp Set<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>says\u00a0that it’s very important to try to learn something new everyday, to search,\u00a0to discover, to stay curious and that is what her colorful Art Journal pages are all about. She gave it so many colors by using Distress Oxide Inks <\/a>on the background and some flowers from <\/a>Botanical Layers Paperie <\/a>\u00a0from Tim Holtz. She made her second layer of background using Sizzix Alphanumeric Marquee<\/a> die. The final touch was made by using \u00a0Ruler Pieces Findings<\/a> and some cute girls from\u00a0Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> made some fun notebooks for her Science teacher friends, using Tim Holtz’s The Chemist stamps<\/a> and Indigo Blu’s Calculus stamp<\/a>, along with several Simon Says Stamp stencils – Ring Cluster<\/a>, Swirls and Dots<\/a> and Circular Lace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create an art journal page with motivational quotes for her daughter, a high school freshman. She stamped the typewriter image using Tim Holtz Type Chart Rubber Stamp<\/a> and added sentiments with Way with Words<\/a> rubber stamp.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> created a back to school card with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Alphabet stamp set<\/a>\u00a0 and Simon Says Stamp Dancing Fruits stamp set<\/a> \u00a0along with some books that she made out of different kinds of washi tape<\/a>.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> misses her school’s day so she create this TAG with Distress Oxide<\/a> and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Clippings<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
