This week we are challenging you to<\/p>\n

Make An Artist Trading Card\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Artist trading cards<\/b> (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world.<\/span>\u00a0The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5″ x 3.5″.<\/span><\/p>\n

As always the lovely Heidi and her team at Simon Says Stamp<\/a> will be giving away a fabulous $50 voucher to spend in their super fantastic online store! You have to be in it to win it!<\/p>\n

Simona<\/a> is going Steampunk this week and decided to use all the Tim Holtz ‘Industrial’ products<\/a> she could put her hands on, along with her favorite ‘Dapper’ Stamp Set<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Andrea<\/a> made a trio of ATC’s using Dina Wakley’s Collaged Hearts<\/a> stamp set, Kaisercraft’s Lattice die<\/a> and a lot of Distress Stain<\/a> goodness.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> loves the small size of an ATC, and had such fun using a whole lot of Tim Holtz idea-ology Clippings stickers<\/a> for the background, colored with Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara <\/a>loves the ATCs in a special way because her creative journey started with them!! She created a series of three for this challenge! Paper dolls<\/a>, Distress oxide<\/a>, Tim Holtz mini stencil<\/a> set 25 are the ingredients!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created her first ATC using Distress Crayons<\/a>\u00a0and finished off the card with Tim Holtz Botanical layers<\/a>, and a Word Band<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a> really enjoyed creating her very first ATC’s and gathered many tiny items from her stash to make these miniature pieces of artwork. She added Paper Dolls<\/a> as a focal point and layered them over the top of the Mini Globe<\/a>\u00a0die cut and some Snippets Ephemera<\/a> pieces.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> is a first timer too and made a spooky trio of Halloween ATCs using TimHoltz\/Stampers Anonymous Label Frames<\/a> and Tim Holtz Sizzix Halloween Thinlits<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lols\u00a0<\/a>made a set of ATC’s using a selection of the new Tim Holtz \u00a0Distress Oxide Inks<\/a> and a new Simon Says Stamp ‘You’re A Star’ Craft Die<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena <\/a>made her first ever set of ATCs which she loved and will surely continue with this small artistic form. She kept the set in galactic purples using Seedless Preserves<\/a> and Picked Raspberry<\/a> Distress Oxide Inks. She built the background with circles from Simon Says Stamp Ring Frame die <\/a>and Simon Says Stamp Running With Your Heart<\/a> stamps for sentiment and tiny stars. She finished them with trusted Paper Dolls<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> pulled out her Stampers Anonymous Classic stamp set #14<\/a> from her stash to make a pair of ATC’s, using the Stencil Girl ATC Mixup stencil<\/a> and Carabelle Studio’s Texture plate Collage Lettres et Chiffres.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a>\u00a0was inspired to create a mixed media ATC with Simon Says Stamp Space Journey Wafer Die<\/a> and textured background using Prima White Crackle Texture Paste<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra<\/a> is one of the newbies at ATC making as well and she had a blast making such small pieces of art to swap. For the background she used Distress Oxides <\/a>as well as for the Garden Greens <\/a>to create a bit of botanical feel.
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> used Distress Oxide<\/a> and Tim Holtz’s Stamp<\/a> to create this ATC duo<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!<\/p>\n
