Many of our friends have spent their summer vacation on board cruise ships, some have been boating on lakes, and some have been sailing across one of the seven seas, we would like you to cruise along with us and create something with voyages into the unknown in mind.<\/p>\n

Simo\u00a0<\/a>made a Birthday card for a special person using Stampendous Stamp Set Sailboats<\/a> and her favorite Distress Oxides Inks.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Andrea’s<\/a> mind was on pirates and mermaids this week, so she made a notebook an artsy mermaid might own. \u00a0She used Tim Holtz’s Journaler Worn Cover<\/a>, Picture Wheel die<\/a>, and a color wheel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anna-Karin<\/a> happened to do another whale project this week, after last week’s card, but this time an art journal page. She used Hero Art’s Layering Blue Whale stamp set<\/a>, together with layers of Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>, to create this scene.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Barbara<\/a> loves everything about the sea! She used Tim Holtz’s stamp set Sea life<\/a>, Tim Holtz’s stencil Mosaic <\/a>and Ranger Distress ink pad \u00a0Blueprint sketch<\/a> to create a tag dedicated to the ocean!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Cathie<\/a> created a deep sea exploration hunt using the Tim Holtz Mini Sand & Sea<\/a> die set along with My Favorite Things Pierced Circle Stax<\/a>. The background was created using several Distress Spray Stains<\/a> and the treasure pieces were “rusted” with Prima Rust Effects Paste<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Emma<\/a>\u00a0chose to embrace the journey with her nautical project all about adventures at sea and\u00a0used an image from\u00a0<\/span>Tim Holtz’s Photobooth<\/a>\u00a0set, placed on a\u00a0<\/span>bed of texture which was created using the\u00a0<\/span>Bubbles Layering Stencil<\/a>\u00a0and some rusty\u00a0<\/span>Industrial<\/a>\u00a0gears.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kath<\/a> went to sea with The Owl and The Pussycat aka Tim Holtz Sizzix Crazy Cats<\/a> and Bird Crazy<\/a> in a beautiful pea green boat made with Tim Holtz\/Sizzix Tea Time die<\/a> and encountered the scary octopus from Tim Holtz\/Stampers Anonymous Sea Life<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Lols <\/a>decided to to create something ‘Astro-Nautical’ using some of the new products in the \u00a0‘Encouraging Words’ Release.\u00a0<\/a>She created a galaxy background using Fired Brick<\/a>, Cracked Pistachio<\/a> and Faded Jeans<\/a> Oxide Inks and then spritzed with water and white gesso. Lols<\/a> also used a ‘You’re A Star’<\/a> and Space Journey<\/a> Craft Dies to complete her ‘out of this world’ scene.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Macarena\u00a0<\/a>really loves all the nautical details, seashells, boats, everything related to the sea.\u00a0This time she made a nautical tag incorporating seashells she brought\u00a0from the seaside. She used SSS Ring Frame<\/a> die hidden on the background and as a focal points two images from Tim Holtz Nautical Blueprints<\/a> stamp set. She colored the images using Distress Inks<\/a> and the backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Maura<\/a> headed right to the ocean in her Dylusions Art Journal<\/a>. She used Tim Holtz’s Sea Life stamps<\/a> for the creatures of the deep, and Laurel Burch’s Mermaid Fish<\/a> for the surface waters, coloring them all with Dina Wakley’s Scribble Sticks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Meihsia<\/a> was inspired to create a mixed media wall hanging using Tim Holtz Distress Spray Stain<\/a> on the background and decorated it with her favorite sea creatures using Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Mini Prints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sandra <\/a>created an under the sea kind of voyage with her card. She used Mini Sand and Sea dies<\/a> along with the Garden Greens<\/a> and applied here and there\u00a0Grit Paste<\/a>\u00a0to add some texture
\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Zoey<\/a> used watercolors<\/a> and Tim Holtz tissue wrap paper<\/a> to create this ATC<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
