Kerry created a card that appeals to her wacky sense of humour using a Simon Says STAMPtember® Pumpkin To Talk About clear stamp set and Googly Eyes.
Andrea used the Simon Says STAMPtember Just Because Background Stamp for the sentiment on her tag. She also used Simon’s Simple Flowers Die and Circle Loops Dies, along with Gina K’s Beautiful Bookmarks Die Set.
Anna-Karin made a birthday card using Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Birthday Party stamp set. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and the card was embellished with Simon Says Stamp Surf Pawsitively Dazzling Gems.
Barbara created a tag using the Spooky Window set from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® collection. The witch is framed by the wreath cut with the Tim Holtz Sizzix Festive Wreath Thinlits Dies. In the background, Sizzix 3D Embossing Folder Acorns are used together with Ranger Black Heavystock and Distress Spritz Spiced Marmalade.
Kath is getting in the mood for Christmas and used the bold sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Block Alpha Words, the beautiful snowflakes from an old favourite, Simon Says Making Spirits Bright and die-cuts from Simon Says Winter Village to create a Christmas scene.
Lols made a thanksgiving card using a Simon Says STAMPtember® Pumpkin To Talk About Clear Stamp Set and a Pawsitively Perfect Craft Tacky Mat. She colored the pumpkins with Distress Inks and splattered with Dylusions Black Marble Ink and Dina Wakley White Gesso. For the background she used a Double Plaid Cover Die, also from the STAMPtember® Release along with splatters of Fresh Lime and Rustic Wilderness Inks.
Maura was inspirited by the beautiful colors of fall to create her card using the Simon Says STAMPtember Grateful Florals stamp set. She stamped Simon Says Stamp’s Intense Black ink, and used Daniel Smith watercolors like Cascade Green, Quinacridone Coral, and Permanent Orange to paint the flowers.
Meihsia made a mixed media tag using a Simon Says STAMPtember® Par-Tea Clear Stamp Set and colored it with Zig CLEAN COLOR 90 SET Real Brush and Copic SKETCH 72 PC SET C Markers.
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!

Simon Says: Recycle It, featuring Brutus Monroe
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Tag and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week we are asking you to:
Recycle It
As it’s the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a brand/company. This week we are all using some fabulous products from Brutus Monroe. You don’t have to use them to join in with the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! This week we’re welcoming the lovely Kerry B into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Kerry recycled a die cut Spellbinders Dancin’ Birthday Dragon from an earlier card. For the background she used Distress Oxide Sprays and Inks, and then stamped polka dots from a Tim Holtz Mr Rabbit Cling Stamp Set and splattered with Dina Wakely White Gesso. She then sprayed with Worn Lipstick and Picked Paspberry Distress Spritz through the Brutus Monroe Vortex Stencil. She finished with a Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Birthday Sentiment and clear sequins. The whole panel was mounted on recycled corrugated cardboard to add more depth.
Andrea recycled some thin scrap metal into earrings decorated with Brutus Monroe’s Circus Life Paper. She put her earrings together with the help of Dina Wakley’s Ultra Thick Gel Medium, Tim Holtz’s Loop Pins and her trusty Crop-A-Dile.
Anna-Karin made a tag from recycled cardboard. The background was made with Brutus Monroe Slimline Lots of Lines stencil. The leaves were die cut with Tim Holtz Sizzix Vault Foliage Wreath from left-over paper and the buttons are recycled from old clothing.
Barbara created a trio of Halloween ATCs by recycling some Idea-Ology packages to create the background for her project. She added the three cute ghosts from the Spooky Spirits set by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous. She used Brutus Monroe Cinnamon Sugar embossing powder and the Layering Stencil Jacks to color the little pumpkins and Ranger Texture Paste Black Opaque for the stars and bats.
Kath created a Ghostly Halloween Party Banner from old music CD’s using Brutus Monroe Watercolor Galaxy patterned paper and Alabaster Ultra Fine White Embossing Powder, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Spooky Spirits/Boo Crazy stamp sets and Batty Layering Stencil.
Macarena recycled a corrugated paper which she embossed in gold with Brutus Monroe Gilded Ultra Fine Embossing Powder and a dress label that was painted with Distress Paint Scorched Timber. The composition was built on the biggest Tim Holtz Sizzix Framed Tags and the focal point is one of the rosettes from the fantastic Prima Marketing Red, White and Blue mould.
Maura recycled an Amazon bag into a little tag book. She used Brutus Monroe’s Playful Pattern papers, his Adhesive Shaker Pouch, and Aqua Pigments like Wicked Witch. She filled the pouch with sequins and beads, including Simon Says Stamp’s Sea Glass Sequins.
Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Brutus Monroe Succulent & Cactus Stamp & Die Set on the background, and decorated it with Prima Marketing Rusty Metal Clips Art Daily Planner and Tim Holtz idea-ology Quote Chip Labels.
Zoey used cardboard as the base of her tag. She also used Distress Crayons to add texture to her background and also Mica Stain to add some more shine. To decorate the tag she used Ideaology Portraits and Ephemera
So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
