Anita made an ATC, whose background has various acrylic paints, strips from DCWV paper stacks, and borders stamps with Tsukineko Memento Dew Drops Dye Inks. For the focus, she used a car and alphabet stamps with dye inks and watercolor pencils.
Anna-Karin made an Artist Trading Card featuring the Simon Says Stamp Classic Bicycle die. The background was stamped with the Simon Says Stamp Circle Pattern Background and the bike was embossed with powders by Ranger.
Barbara created a card using a fabulous circle stamp by Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous from Glitch 1 set for her background and a phrase from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Motivation 2 set as the focal point. She used Distress Oxide inks pads Crackling Campfire, Frayed Burlap, Distress Embossing Glaze Crackling Campfire.
Cheiron used one of her favorite Tim Holtz Snarky Small Chat stickers about rolling your eyes to go with this week’s theme. She created a fun background with Distress Paints and Grunged, Faded Type and Stitches Stampers Anonymous stamps She added paint through the Layering Stars stencil and a Tiny Clip.
Emma was definitely on a roll when she created a vintage style Mini Etcetera tag using scrap paper from the Abandoned Paper stash by Tim Holtz to add a backdrop of various sized paper rolls. She layered a Vintage Photo Booth image over the top and added a Theories Quote Chip to complete the tag.
Kath was inspired by the TV programme Top Gear, where the presenters take epic globe trotting road trips in beat up old cars, to create a whimsical art journal page using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wacky Transport, Funky Trees and Alphanumeric Stretch Lower and Bold Thinlits from the newly released Chapter 1 Collection
Lols used the tandem from Tim Holtz Theories Cling Stamp Set to add some wheels on her card. For the background she used Speckled Egg, Crackling Campfire, Rustic Wilderness and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks and Tim Holtz Glitch 2 Cling Stamp Set
Macarena made a cute baby card using for the background the very versatile Tim Holtz Dearly Departed flowers and for the focal point the Tim Holtz Baby Blueprint stamp. She added cute Impression Obsession Clouds die and some Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflowers Stems.
Maura went for only one wheel, a unicycle on her Simon Says Stamp Slimline card using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Fly Fly stamp, and lots of Tim Holtz and Ranger Distress inks, like Rusty Hinge oxide ink, Mermaid Lagoon, and Spiced Marmalade.
Meihsia was inspired to creat a mixed media Valentine’s Day Tag using Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Mini Pulley Wheels Findings and added sentiments using Simon Says Clear Stamp Love Greetings Mix Love You.
Sandra went for a grunge industrial vibe for her card and used Distress Ink Peacock Feathers, Speckled Egg and Hickory Smoke to build up the background. For texture she used Texture Paste colored with Distress Paint Black Soot, Digits stencil and some Silver Embossing Powder.
Zoey rolled out her confort zone and used soft and delicate colors for this romantic tag. She used Tim Holtz Sizzix DETAILED BUTTERFLIES Thinlits Die and Tim Holtz Idea-ology WORD KEYS Charm Hardware Altered Art to decorate this tag.
