This week we’re welcoming back the lovely Thom Santilla into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!
Thom personalised a notebook cover using Tim Holtz Backdrops #2 Papers and a painted panel using Paper Artsy Duck Eggs and Candy Floss Acrylic Paints and a Kate Crane Stencil. He used an Idea-ology Baseboard Frame and Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp Perspective Stamp for the butterflies. He finished with a sentiment from Idea ology Quote Chips/Theories

Andrea used PaperArtsy stamps from some of her favorite designers for her bright painty tag (the shape of which came from Waffle Flower’s Nesting Tags die set). She used Kate Crane’s KC014 stamp along with Seth Apter’s EM124 and EM105 stamps. She loves using Dina Wakley’s acrylic paints!

Anna-Karin made a tag using watercolor paint, gouache and Paper Artsy Infusions Colored Stain The Sage and In The Navy. The grasses were stamped with Paper Artsy Alison Bomber Winter Umbels and Winter Grasses

Barbara loves playing with paints! This week she had fun with Paper Artsy Mattints, mixed with Ranger Ink Distress Texture Paste Crackle opaque. To create her tag she chose stamps and stencils from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous: Perspective, Flourish and Latticework, Noteworthy, Nature and Ringer, the Mini Stencil 9 and the Mini Stencil 55

Kath made a simple mixed media card using PaperArtsy Fresco Paints and Tim Holtz Distress Brayer to create the background, applied detail with paint through PaperArtsy Kate Crane PS427 Stencil, added a stamped image using Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Embroidery and Idea-ology Metallic Stickers.

Macarena made a set of colorful tags using for the background Paper Artsy Seth Apter Printed Tissue pt06 which she painted with Stamperia Allegro Acrylic Paints. Then she added birds from Tim Holtz Sizzix Silhouette Birds and painted them with Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Paint Abandoned Coral.

Maura created a set of memorydex cards inspired by Seth Apter. She used several paints such as Paper Artsy Kiwi Gold and Rusty. Layers were buildt up with tissue paper, stencils, and stamps like Seth Apter’s Paper Artsy EM 109 and EM 128 mini stamps.

Meihsia was inspired to create a tag using Paper Artsy Kate Crane Mini Stencil and Paper Artsy JOFY Stencilon the background, and colored it with Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 6 and Tim Holtz Flip Top Distress Paint Foursome Bundle 3.

Zoey used Paper Artsy Blank Tissue Paper to add interest to her background. She also used Distress Ink + Paint and some Tim Holtz Ideaology epehemera. She finished off her panel by adding Paper Artsy Fresco Finish
