This week we are welcoming the lovely Lyla aka A Chief’s Wife’s Heart’s A Fire into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Lyla used various items of from Stamperia’s Romantic Horses Collection for her album. She made a fun-filled folio album for her Best Friend’s 80th Birthday. Stamperia’s paperie & embellishments gave the perfect touch of surprises to a gift that her friend will love. After all; it all about the memories they share: HORSES!

Andrea made a notebook cover using Stamperia’s Sea World Rust 1 stencil. The beautiful face is from Studio Light’s Mint Collection (Art by Marlene), the background letters are from Tim Holtz’s Documented stamp set and the splattered dots are courtesy of Dina Wakley’s Night Media Gloss Spray.

Anna-Karin made a mini book which will be filled with photos and memories from sea holidays. She used the beautiful Stamperia Romantic Sea Dream 8×8 in paper pad. The papers were lightly stamped with Simon Says Stamp Crackle Background and Smoke ink.

Barbara used Stamperia Arctic Flakes to give a shiny touch to her winter-inspired Etcetera Tag Mini. To make it, she used Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Moon Mask, Tim Holtz Sizzix Tall Pines and Festive Words Thinlits Dies, Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Grit Paste.

Cheiron created a stitched tag with ornaments and embellished them with Stamperia Silver Contour Liner. She created the tag by stamping the background using the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Stripes and Holiday Stamps along with the Festive Sketch for the ornaments. She used a stamp from the Patchwork Pieces set as the ‘hanger’ for her ornaments and finished the tag with an Idea-ology Stitched Scrap.

Emma couldn’t resist using the gorgeous Alice Through The Looking Glass Collectables and Die Cuts by Stamperia and she altered a plain kraft notebook which she then decorated inside and out, using the Alice theme. To complete the cover she used Tim Holtz Snippets Ephemera pieces, Clippings Stickers and a Hardware Pull.

Kath decorated a panel to brighten up the “to do list” notice board in her craft room using Stamperia Ink & Labels Calligraphy Soft Mold, Amazing Casting Resin, Distress Paints, Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Script Mini Layering Stencil with Distress Grit Paste and Observations stamp set.

Lols  made a notebook using a Stamperia Sir Vagabond The Traveler Stencil along with Vintage Photo and Old Paper Distress Oxide Inks. She used a Tim Holtz Cityscape Commute die set and an Alphanumeric Tiny Type Upper Die Set.

Macarena made a very romantic wedding album with pictures of the couple from their childhood up to now. She used the beautiful Stamperia Romantic Journal collection.

Maura used inspiration from a book series to create her art journal page. She used Stamperia’s Lady Vagabond and Sir Vagabond papers, along with Stamperia’s Sir Vagabond Vintage Travel Stamps, and Lady Vagabond Escape the Ordinary stencil.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media art journal page using Stamperia House of Rose Paper on the background, and decorated the page with Stamperia Romantic Journal Die Cuts and Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Tiny Text Remnant Rubs.

Sandra made a Halloween tag using the Stamperia Celebration Thank You Decorative Strips and the Creepy Eyes for the texture. To color the strip in she used Distress Paint Black Soot, Metallique Wax Firebird and Bronze Age.

Zoey made this textured tag using Stamperia SEA WORLD RUST 2 Stencil , Tim Holtz Sizzix LEAF FRAGMENTS Thinlits Dies and added color using Distress Oxide Spray and the Seasonal Distress Mica Spray
