This week we are welcoming the lovely Jess aka Two Mad Dahlias into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

Jess
has created a Dina Wakley canvas board using Distress Oxide and Stain Sprays.  A bit of Prima wax adds the perfect vintage touch.

Andrea paid homage to a wedding flower girl with her revamped Prima Mixed Media Notebook.  To add color, she used Prima Tropicals Watercolors and a piece of Prima Fruit Paradise paper in the background.

Anna-Karin made a wedding card with a patchwork background made with squares cut from Prima’s Pretty Pale 6 x 6 in paper pad. She decorated the card with Prima’s Meadows Pretty Pale Flowers, and a heart die cut with the Birch Press Design Kaleidoscope Heart Layer dies.

Barbara was inspired by new Idea-ology Found Relatives! She created a vintage tag with Prima Marketing Melange Sugar PebbleTim Holtz Sizzix Elegant 3D Texture fadesTim Holtz Sizzix Faceted heartPrima Marketing Firebird Art Alchemy Metallique Wax.

Cheiron created a tag to celebrate an anniversary using Photo Booth, Botanical Layers,  and a Classic Label with a Tiny Text remnant rub. She finished off her tag with a Prima Sunset Beach Golden Coast Flower  and some gold splatter from a Tonic Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer Pen.

Emma felt the love in the air and created a card that is perfect for a summer wedding. She used Prima Marketing White Gold Icing Paste to create her background and combined Tim Holtz’s Funky Florals 3 and Wildflower Stems dies to add a floral bouquet.

Kath made a card for friends who will be celebrating a special anniversary this year using Prima Marketing Pretty Pale Paper Pad, Pretty Pale DecorativeTape, Pretty Pale Stencil and Flowers and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Lace Baseboard Frames, Found Relatives and Kraft Stock Metallic 2.

Lols made a wedding card using some gorgeous Prima Flirty Fleur Papers along with Coordinating Flowers and  Decorative Washi Tape.

Macarena made a vintage anniversary card using Prima Marketing Lille Love Story Flowers, Bridgeport Irongate Re-design mould, Beautiful Story stamp and St. Tropez paper

Maura was thinking of all the lovely weddings in June as she created a card using Prima Flutter tissue by Finnabair, Prima Lavender and Frost cling set, and Prima Pastel Dreams Watercolors.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using Prima Marketing Dress Tangerine Fruit Paradise Flowers and decorated it with Prima Rustic Gears and Tin Heart

Sandra made a crackled wedding card using the Pretty Pale Paper Pad for her background and Opal Magic Rose Gold with Spun Sugar Distress Paint to give it some color, and to make those cracks visible she used Distress Crayon Walnut Stain.

Zoey used the beautiful set Prima Marketing METAL RUST EFFECT PASTE Art Extravagance 965679 to give this tag a really rusty look. She also used Prima Marketing PLASTER PASTE Art Basics 965198 and Prima Marketing MESSY Finnabair Clear Stamp 961893 to create textures.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
