newchallenge

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

Thank you for joining us for the Party Time  Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

Happy New Year!!

We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and wish you all the very best for 2019!!

This week we would like to see something that you haven’t used before. It doesen’t necessarily have to be brand new, but something new to you. Please say what it is in the write up of your post.

Use Something New

As it is the first Monday of the month we are showcasing a particular company. This time we are all using our very own Simon Says Stamp Products. You don’t have to use them to join in, but if you have them we would love to see them used!

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty packages and will pop around to visit you ASAP!

This week we are welcoming the super talented Wendy aka Dabble (Kinda) Doday into the Designer Spotlight. If you haven’t visited her blog before then you are in for a real treat!

New to Wendy are the Tim Holtz Dimensional Domes that were released for the holidays but can be used all year long. While the tag is kept pretty simple to follow an organic feel, it showcases the Entomology Stamp and Coordinating Die Set beautifully!

Andrea made a tag using Simon Says Stamp’s new Rounded Alphabet die to spice up the background.  She also used Simon’s Holy Stars die and 3-Sided Scallop die.

Anna-Karin decided to start the new crafting year with a scrapbooking layout about some hopes and wishes for the year. She used the SSS Windows To My Heart die and Heart Layers stencil set to create the background. The butterflies were die cut with the pretty SSS Stitching Butterflies die set.

Barbara has created a card all branded Simon! She used new Simon Says Stamp Windows To My Heart Wafer Die (You Are Loved collection), Simon Says Stamp Friend Outline Wafer Die ( DieCember Collection), Tonic Golden Years Nuvo Pure Sheen Confetti and Tim Holtz Idea-ology 8 x 8 Paper Stash Metallic Jewels Kraft Stock.

Cheiron used the Simon Says Stamp Outline Floral Frame along with the Friend Outline over a panel of brightly colored Alcohol Inks. She added a sentiment using the CZ Design Simple Sentiments 2 stamps cut out with the Sentiment Labels Wafer dies.

Emma created a vintage style Mini Etcetera Tag using two gorgeous new products that she has added to her Simon Says Stamp collection ~ the Love Messages stamp set and All My Heart Stencil. She combined them with products from Tim Holtz which included the Collector and Botanical Layers.

Kath decided to mix new and old to make a card for a friend, using the recently released Simon Says Stamp Ornate Love stamp set and two old favourites, Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts Stencil and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Bird Crazy and matching Framelits.

Lols made a card using a new Damask Background Cling Stamp and a new Always and Forever Clear Stamp Set from the latest Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Release

Macarena made a black and white with a touch of red birthday card using Simon Says Stamp Damask Background stamp and a lot of Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder on the Simon Says Stamp So Loved stamps.

Maura reminisced about the passage of time and the friends we have in our lives. She worked in her journal and used the Simon Says Stamp Kaleidoscope background, Christmas Cheer, Make Your Mark stamps, and Simon’s Lined Circles stencil.

Meihsia was inspired to create a mixed media tag using the new Simon Says Clear Stamp Forever and Always You are Loved and Simon Says Stamp Everyday Words on a Line Wafer Die to embellish the tag.

Sandra made an art journal spread with Nuvo Expanding Mousse White Linen that she used for the first time and found out how it works and she used the Simon Says Stamp Ornate Love die set from the lastest release You Are Loved.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your inks, paints and all things arty and start creating! We are looking forward to seeing what you make!
