You’re Pretty Amazing

Hi everyone! It’s Stephanie here with a card I created using Simon Says Stamp brand dies and stamps, as well as the ZIG Wink of Luna metallic markers.

Amazing

I used the Wink of Luna metallic markers to colour each of the individual butterflies from the Butterfly Drift die. I first diecut the butterfly drift and then coloured directly on top of the black cardstock with the green, blue and purple markers. You can see in the photos how well the colour covers the dark cardstock.

To complete the card, I cut up a sentiment stamp from the Simon Stripe Greetings stamp set and layered it beside the stacked butterflies. I stamped it with black Versafine and then embossed it with Judikins Iridescent embossing powder for some sparkle! ;)

You can see how I created the card in the video below:

Thanks for stopping by today!!

  1. Stephanie – this is a wonderful card. I think it’s my favorite of yours. I ordered this die and can’t wait to try out your great idea. Thank you!

  2. Awesome card. I’m waiting patiently for my chance to get my hands on the wink of lunas not to mention that butterfly die.

  3. Wow..those markers are just amazing! Thank you for the video. Loved seeing how the markers look.

  4. Who doesn’t love butterflies? I especially love them so this card is right up my alley. Love it!

  5. Great card but those metallic markers are amazing. OMGOSH I can’t afford every product I want!

  6. OMG, what a pretty card! I love the pretty springtime colored butterflies all shimmery from the glitter pen! Nicely done!

  7. I love your card! I really like the colors of the wink of Stella pens. I was amazed these pens covered black card stock!

  8. I need to know how to use these pens on black card stock. I have tried on Stampin Up card stock and they do not show up like yours do. Does the black card stock have to have a smooth texture or glaze on it??? I have the whole set of pens and they look horrible on black card stock…
Please let me know what I can do…
    Thanks
