Wrap it Up with KP

gift3

Hi bloggers! Happy Wednesday to you! Today we have some more inspiration on just how many ways you can use these fantastic designs from Kelly Purkey! I’m pleased to share with you some fabulous wrapping ideas from Kelly! When it comes to gift giving, there is no bag (in my mind) that can compare with a well wrapped gift.  Christmas is the time where I really take my time to wrap everyone’s gifts. I’m talking the works with fancy tags, bows, ribbon– you name it!

I’m always looking for creative ways to wrap gifts and make them special and I hope you’re as inspired by this idea from Kelly as I am! (Hint: the earlier you get those gifts wrapped and under the tree the longer YOU can enjoy them before giving them! ;))

Enjoy!

When I was little I absolutely loved going shopping with my mom to a local department store because they had a gift wrap room. This little room filled with rolls of wrapping paper where girls would box up and gift wrap your purchases. I swear I could have stayed there for hours watching them wrap up things and I thought it was the best job ever. To this day I still love wrapping things up – it comes naturally with my love of paper. I put some of my new products to work for a little wrapping example.

The tags were created with the Simon Medium Tag wafer thin dies and I stamped them with my ‘Tis the Season set. The stamps were designed to go hand in hand with the dies to make whipping up tags super easy for you this year. I also added some washi tape instead of ribbon on the package. And a little dear head from the Oh, Deer wafer thin die set, because I just can’t resist including a little Rudolph to everything.

And there you go, that’s a wrap!

  1. If I got a present wrapped like this I’d never open it. I’d just put it on display. The amount of thought and effort and artistry that goes into wrapping a present like Kelly did is a gift in itself.

  2. I admire people who can wrap so neatly. I , on the other hand have 2 left feet. Lol. It was nice to see such creativity in wrapping.

  3. Very cute package for someone special. I do love the look of well wrapped gifts but never take the time to do it myself. Besides when we go to our places for Christmas he just throws everything in a bag and if it makes great and if not he feels no guilt whether it’s pretty or not. Does that make sense? Thanks for the inspiration. I love the look.
