Winter Thanks Card

Happy New Year, everyone! Today I’m back with a winter thank you card! Cards like this would be perfect to send as thank you cards for holiday gifts that you’ve received from loved ones. :)

The cute snowman image is from Newton’s Nook’s Frozen Friends stamp set, and I colored him using Tim Holtz Distress Markers and a Faber-Castell Deluxe Water Brush. I love coloring simple images like this with Distress Markers because it’s fast and easy.

When I make winter-ish thank you cards, I like to use regular holiday stamps but change up the colors and sentiments. I love icy blue (like Sea Glass from Simon Says Stamp or Tumbled Glass Distress), purple, and grays for winter cards. You could also just go the colorful route and create bright and cheerful thank you cards using Christmas/Winter images. I always appreciate happy, colorful cards in January and February since it’s so gray and icky during the wintertime but without all the fun holiday activities.

Be sure to watch the video below to see what I did on the inside of the card, too! :)

  1. He looks so sad out in the cold. ;-( Very cute card. Your tips are always helpful and appreciated, Kristina.

  2. Very cute! Love the simple card and the quick review of colouring with distress markers. Great layout – going to do something similar for cards that need to go out this weekend.

  3. A “Winter Thanks” card is an inexpensive way to say thanks to your business customers and to thank loyal customers from the past. It’s a nice gesture that lets the people who use your services know that you appreciate what they do for your company. My dad picked the best ski school for me with the help of https://fasterskier.com/2020/08/how-to-choose-a-cross-country-ski-school-for-students-in-the-uk/ article. Now, I am working on creating a beautiful Winter Thanks card.
