Summer School with Shari Carroll

Hello and welcome to day 2 of Summer School!

Today’s teacher is none other than Mrs. Shari Carroll! Shari has an amazing, masculine card to share. She shows how easy it is to use the new Teacher’s Pet supplies to create cards for the manly teachers out there!

We love how Shari used just a part of the Scrambled Letters stencil to create her embossing paste background. The colors are perfect for a masculine card and that pop of orange makes the mini chalkboard she created stand right out! How fun is her chalk sentiment?!

Supplies

  1. Wow! With all nephews I am constantly looking for ways to make cards masculine. Thanks Shari for giving me so many new ideas on how to make great layered cards for all the boys in my life! :)

  2. cant pick just one – top 3 are lunch box notes stamps and dies, and the teacher die. I have two daughters who are teachers!

  3. Cute Card. Love the use of the white pen to outline your sentiment. I would say the dies and stencils is by far a fav of mines. I like the many use for them.

  4. As we are only on day 2, I’m going with the Lunch Box Notes dies. Those would be so much fun to have.

Love today’s masculine card. Why are those so hard to make? Embossing paste gives it texture without it being a ribbon! :)

  5. I love your clean and simple cards! I love how you used the “you rock” stamp. That was genius and I would’ve never thought of it.

My favorite item from this release is definitely the lunchbox notes stamp set! I love the smiley face. And the sentiments are perfect and just the right size for lunchbox notes.

  6. Tough decision about which is my favorite!….I really love the lunch box notes die, but there so many new, fun things to choose from!!

  7. My favorite item is the lunch box notes die–love the little scalloped square with the accent lines. I don’t have kids and I think it could be used for lots of non-school projects. Shaker boxes!!
