Hi everyone it’s Nina-Marie here today…welcome back to Studio Monday! For today’s video tutorial, I’m going to be sharing some inspiration on pairing the new Better Together and Scandinavian Prints stamp sets from Neat & Tangled to create fun encouragement cards for kids!

The adorable children images from Better Together are so sweet, and I love how each kid is holding their own little furry friend. I did all the coloring of these images using Copic markers, which I will be walking you through on the video. For reference, you can see the colors broken down below:

Girl with dog: RV10, RV23, R27, R46, R59, E33, E37, E47, R20, C3, C5, C7, 100, E0000, E51,E21

Girl with owl: E0000, E00, E21, E23, E17, E18, E37, E47, E84, RV00, R20, RV52, Y00, Y11,Y06, BG0000, BG01

Boy with fox: E00, E21, E57, E47, E49, Y38, YR15, YR68, R46, R59, R89, YR20, YR82, YR12

I also did some watercoloring using Prima’s Watercolor Confections (the Classics set) and a Penny Black Inc. stencil to create a whimsical background for these little kids. I love the uneven texture of the dots, as it matches perfectly with the style of the children.

I’ll be walking you through how I created this background -as well as the entire set of cards- in the video! Be sure to give it a “thumbs up” if you enjoy and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more weekly inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a happy week of creating! :)
xoxo, Nina-Marie
