Easy Pastel Watercoloring_4

Hello everyone! It’s Nina-Marie here with you today for a brand new Studio Monday! Today I am going to be sharing a easy watercoloring technique that will help you achieve pastel color effects and tones to your coloring.

Light and airy pastels can sometimes be hard to achieve, especially depending upon how intense of a pigment you are using. For my watercoloring, I’ve used the Prima Decadent Pies watercolor tin. However, keep in mind that any watercolor medium you have or prefer would work for this technique!

The stamp sets I’ve used for this card are the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders and Sentimental sets. I love the whimsical style of these animals! And I also really love how the set includes a pair of trees that I can help create cute little scenes for the critters.

I’ve put together a video tutorial for you showing how I created this entire card, as well as explaining the color techniques I used to create my pastel effects.  Be sure to check out the video below or over on our YouTube channel!
