Using an Airbrush Machine and Copics, airbrush a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of glossy card stock to create a background paper.  Spritz with Alcohol to “marble-ize”.  Using Wired template add some faux texture to the background paper with the Copics and air compressor.  Sprinkle the background paper with Chunky white embossing enamel and heat from underneath until melted. (keep heat gun moving or you will burn paper ).  Adhere to white 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 white card stock mat.

On the back portions of layers apply tape adhesive to the left and bottom portion of the white yardstick and add Cheese cloth or white Tulle.  Apply liquid adhesive to the cheese cloth and sprinkle with glass glitter and color fragments.

Cut out flowers using a die (or just grab mulberry flowers from your stash) and add buttons and pearls to centers.  Pop up on card using foam pop-up tape.  Stamp Jumbo Butterflies using versamark pad onto glossy card stock.  Apply Detailed Copper Embossing powder and heat.  Airbrush butterflies and spritz with alcohol to give texture.  Hand cut out butterflies.  Pop up onto card using Foam tape.  Using Whisper die make texture panel.  cut in half and tuck behind flowers and butterflies  Add Pearls.  Back the whole thing with card stock to make sturdy.

Add layers to 6 x 6 easel card base.  Heat emboss using versamark and  Detailed Copper embossing powder the Stampendous Grunge stamp onto inside bottom panel.  Add other half of Whisper panel to inside and finish it off by adding a popped up flower to hold card open.

  1. Welcome Jennifer. From you’re first art work on SSS it seems like you’re going to fit in JUUUUUST fine. Great piece.

  2. I love the diversity in the guests you invite on the blog. Jennifer Dove has long been one of my favorite copic coloring artists.

  3. Beautiful card, but… it’s really a bad idea to spray alcohol! It’s flammable, and you definitely don’t want to inhale it. (Sorry to be a bummer about this…)
