Oh, Baby!

Hi readers! Happy Saturday to you! I hope your weekend is getting off to an awesome start! I’m always happy to have the sweet & talented Kelly Marie Alvarez of Lawn Fawn on our blog! Today, she’s sharing a fun take on a baby shower card with more of an autumn feel! Check it out!

I absolutely love making baby cards. They are so much fun to create! This one was a bit of a challenge for two reasons: One, the parents-to-be are waiting to find out the gender, and, two, the shower was in the Fall. I have a tendency to always make baby cards very Spring looking, so I decided that I could use Sweater Weather paper to help me give the card more of a Fall feeling. This collection is also great because it has both pinks and blue-greens which helped in making the card more gender neutral. I also love that this card layout could be used for so many different occasions by switching up the stamp set and patterned paper!

  1. Such a sweet baby card with the bunnies. This is especially great when you don’t know the gender of the baby.

  2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lawn Fawn stamps. I think of them when I got to bed. I wake with wonderful ideas to make with your stamps and dies. I don’t have this bunny one; but I will soon. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of using a circle die to cut down other die cuttings! My horizons are wide open with this idea! I love your site, your products AND your wonderful inspirations from your blog!
