So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your crayons and inks, stamps and stencils, and join in! Although we do like to see all genres in this challenge we would like to encourage you to explore mixed media. It is a lot of fun and if you have never tried it maybe now is the time to give it a go! You would be surprised at how easy and how much fun it is!

Thanks for looking and for your lovely comments, we do appreciate them!

  1. I really love the project with the cat is sitting looking out of a window because it is so dimensional and real looking.

  2. Great ideas for the challenge. Each one is so fun and pretty with all the colors. Thanks for sharing.

  3. What a wonderful gathering of rainbow themed cards. I especially like the variety of ways the rainbow colors have been integrated into the overall design. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I appreciate all the different ways the designers interpreted “making a rainbow”. Each project was fun and unique.

  5. This is a great challenge! Love all the mixed media projects, I love all the color this lets you use!

  6. Fun to see all these projects, but mixed media is so daunting! I confess to being very intimidated by it. Will try to use this challenge to get over my fear and jump in!

  7. I love rainbows and very colorful cards. I am going to see how many SSS I have so I can do the mixed media or tons of color cards and make it look like a rainbow. When I was in high school and embellished jeans were in and they are in again, I embroidered a rainbow on my jeans among other things. People loved that rainbow so much they asked me where I bought it. No one believed that I did it myself by hand. I still have those jeans and except for a broken zipper which I want to fix, I can still wear those jeans and they are from 1970 – 1973 which is the last year I was in high school. I don’t remember the exact year I did the jeans but I am so proud of what I did. Wish me luck on the contest!

  8. I love including rainbows and lots of color in my art! I am looking forward to this challenge, and I hope to win the $50 vouccher, too! What a girl couldn’t do with fifty bucks’ worth of ROYGBIV glitter…sigh!!!

  9. Love Cathie’s take on the challenge with the rainbow colors introduced with the flowers and in rainbow order too! There is so much to look at and enjoy in this work!!
