Happy National Scrapbook Day!

National Scrapbook Day

Hi friends! Happy National Scrapbook Day! I’m so excited to have special guest Amy Tangerine here with us to celebrate! She made an adorable layout with her and her cutie patootie son, Jack, in honor of the day! We’re spotlighting Amy’s bright & cheery On A Whim collection that is new for this year as well as the fun versatility that the Mini Misti provides! Please be sure to stop by her blog as well after watching the video below for more details and enjoy!

  1. What a super fun colourful layout! I feel reassured that even stars like you make mistakes, and I love how you save your work and just keep going!

  2. I love this! Great page and video and I went to watch the second video! I scrapbook too as well as make cards, my first passion was scrapbooking before I found stamping and cardmaking!! So I have sooooo much 12×12 paper from when I started scrapbooking more than 20 years ago that I’ve started to purchase 6×6 paper pads but have been having a hard time figuring out how to incorporate those paper pads into my work, the 12×12 pages were a lot easier, obviously. Seeing these videos and what you did? I have a few ideas where to go from here now and how to use my large stash of stamps on my pages as well. That 12×12 Misti may be going on my Christmas wish list :) . Thanks for doing a scrapbook page Simon and I hope you do more of them!! Thanks Amy Tan! Love the page and watching the process. Thanks for sharing .

  3. Beautiful LO and I like how you were able to fix mistakes – we all make them! Thanks for inspiring!

  4. I am new to mixed media and have so much to learn. So many things to add to my wish list as well.

  5. Thanks for the inspiration and for reminding me of stamping on pattern paper! I love your LO. TFS Gone to watch the second part.

  6. What a fun scrapbook layout! I have never scrapbooked and probably won’t start now but love to see how people pull their pages together. This looks fab!

  7. Hope everyone had a great day scrapbooking or creating. I was at a beautiful wedding creating memories!

  8. Love how she showed several ways to fix mistakes!! Im still pretty new to papercrafting, despite my ginormous stash lol!!! I can’t tell you how many projects I have thrown away because of mistakes! Thanks so much for those tips. The layout turned out beautiful!!

  9. What a fun video! I also goof up quite a bit, sometimes it works out to be ok and other times not so good. We are always taking chances and learning. Thanks for a great give away!
