In the spirit of sharing a bit more about the company we’re featuring, here’s a bit more about WPlus9:

Founded by Dawn Woleslagle in February 2010, we are committed to bringing you the highest quality in paper crafting supplies.

There never seems to be enough time in the day, and I know how important and treasured those few moments we can grab to enjoy “our” time can be. You’ll find that our images are bold and attention grabbing.  They have no problem taking center stage, making completing that project a snap.  Whether you’re just starting out in card making or a “seasoned scrapper”, you’ll find that our stamps and products are a great addition to your collection.

I wanted to keep the card soft and monochromatic to mimic the symbolism of a dreamcatcher.

Die cut the dream catcher and butterfly from white cardstock. Cover all pieces with the Wink of Stella and allow to dry.

Prep the Dove Grey panel – Cut to 3 ¾” x 5 ¼”. Mix a little Distress Paint and water together on a craft mat or acrylic block. Use a small paint brush to apply splatters by holding the brush above the cardstock and tapping it lightly with your finger.  Allow to dry.  Add a few stamped “twinkles” using Little Bits in White ink.

Create sentiment – Rub vellum with powder tool to remove static.  Ink top half of sentiment with Versamark, stamp and heat emboss. Clean stamp. Rub vellum with powder tool again to remove static.  Ink bottom half of sentiment with Versamark, stamp and heat emboss. Hand cut into banner shape. Stitch to grey panel using sewing machine.

Assemble dreamcatcher using Multi Medium Matte.  Adhere to panel. Adhere butterfly to dreamcatcher and add rhinestones.

Adhere panel to card base.

  2. Wplus9 is my new favorite stamp co., which I discovered as a result of joining the Online Card Classes Stretch Your Stamps 2 Class. I am so grateful for my decision to take that class, because it has taught me many things, & led me to SSS & the discovery of many great Artists & new ideas & inspiration. I’m currently taking their Copics class… I can’t get enough of them or you! Gorgeous card, LOVE the monochromatic scheme! Thank you!
