There were so many ways I could go with this green, I found a lot of product, but I had to resist all the others and bring together some basic supplies that are easy to work with.

I’ve shot a video of the walk through and also an introduction to my card, enjoy!

It seems I tend to do birthday cards with these Color Coordinates, but that’s ok, you can never have enough!

I used the Carta Bella Celebration paper with the Simon Full Card size Hourglass die to make my flags. Then I added Kelly Purkey Metalic Green Sequins and Spring Mini Pearls to create the party theme.

For my sentiment I used the Birthday Balloons stamp set from Simon with Green Leaf ink.

Have a fantastic week-end!

  1. What a gorgeous green! And such a great card. Just wondering how you made the string all curly?

  2. Love the color green – reminds me of spring that I hope will soon come to western NY! Great project!

  3. Love the sentiment, what a great stamp set. The die makes such a perfect flag size for a card. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Love the green selection. I really enjoy the Color Coordinates feature – SSS has so many wonderful products from which to choose.

  5. Such a pretty card – come on spring weather. This green is the color I want my grass to be – hopefully the warmer temperatures will be here for Easter. Love the coordinate selection you have shown us – makes it easier to know what compliments the Green Leaf.

  6. Love the shade of Green Leaf ~ one can have enough shades of green. Shari, another awesome birthday card that could be used for any age or gender!
