I love trying to use dies in creative ways. The Large Striped Cover Plate die from Sugar Pea seemed like a perfect match to the Around the Town die set, which features cute houses, buildings, and even a few trees! All of the die cut buildings are colored with a selection of bright Copic markers. You can see the colors I used in the supply list below!
In between all the buildings and trees, I added puffy clouds with the Swirl Stitch Clouds die set from Memory Box. The sentiment I used is from the Sugar Pea Designs, Hello die; I cut that from black glitter card and black cardstock for dimension.
Finally, I also created a coordinating envelope by blending Distress Oxide inks into the Waves and Hills and Clouds for Days Simon Says Stamp stencils. The Oxide Inks I used were: Tumbled Glass (and a touch of Blueprint Sketch for a bit of darkness in the sky) with the Clouds for Days stencil. The grass I ink blended both Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn into the Waves and Hills stencil. The envelope itself is a Simon Says Stamp white envelope.
Be sure to check out the video to see how I created this card! I hope it has inspired you! Thanks so much for tuning in, I’ll be back soon with more inspiration for you!
