♥ You So Mush.
Hello! Today’s card features lots and lots of Lawn Fawn inks! There are lots of great images to color in the Lawn Fawn line so it was a challenge to try and think of a design that really featured the inks and stamping with little coloring.
So I decided to create a rainbow collection of flowers by stamping the image from Gleeful Gardens in 8 different colors, cutting them out with the die and then arranging them in a circle. I think it’s fun to think of images in a more geometrical graphic way like this rather than always creating a scene with them.
It’s great to use the same idea to create backgrounds as well. But because I wanted the flowers and the images to be the focus for this card I used Gingham Backdrops with Hippo ink to create a more subtle background. I layered a die cut circle over top of the flowers to hide the busy stems and create a focus point for the little scene with the snail.
The snail is colored with colored pencils and I colored the grass with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment on the card but also stamped it on scrap paper in pink ink on white card stock so that I could color in the heart and cut it out to highlight that part of the sentiment. I finished the card off with a little coral bow and some glitter accents of course.
Cute!
