First up, three fabulous spotlight entries for last week’s challenge.

#14 Sarah Engels-Greer went wild with her carnival color – you have to check this project out! Sandra says I so love her colorful playful style, ala Wendy! These tags are amazing, with the beautiful build up background, as are the stunning eye catching flowers!

#27 Susan Janicula has a colorful and playful carnival project you don’t want to miss.  Dan says: I love the rich tones of the background and the life and movement contained in the clown, he almost jumps off the page! Candy says: The jointed doll with its strings reminds me of a beautiful winged marionette.

#34 Gracie went to the carnival with her  art journal entry. Michelle says The painted tissue paper background was a lovely contrast to the detailed photograph that was colored with pencils.

#54 Heather A Hudson  brought an elephant to this party – and I love her take on the challenge!  Andrea says: Brilliant use of diagonals (which can go wrong so easily).

Congratulations to this week’s spotlight winners! You can email May (may.flaum(at)gmail. com) for the code to our spotlight badge!

Now, speaking of codes, it’s time to talk about the winner of the $50 voucher!

Also I’d like to thank everyone who participates in the challenges – seeing your creations is always such fun and we love how you take our challenges and make them your own each week.

  1. Thanks for spotlighting Gracie, I appreciate the honor. Keeping the challenges going must be an awful lot of work and I appreciate the effort everyone puts in. It’s been a lot of fun participating and I really enjoy seeing everyone’s artwork.

  2. Thanks for being spotlighted, it´s an honour. The good comments I’ve received are making me very proud and happy. Congrats to Sarah, Gracie and Heather
