This week we are challenging you to add stars to your project.

It’s Written In The Stars

Carol used a selection of Distress Oxide Inks and a Simon’s Exclusive Shine On Stamp Set to create the background and then used the stars from a new ‘You’re A Star’ Die and a swirl from a Scribbles and Splat die set to create a whole universe.

Despite the toasty temperatures, Andrea had her mind on winter this week with a star-topped Christmas tree tag.  She used Tim Holtz’s exclusive STAMPtember Stamp Set along with his Ruler Ribbon and Sizzix Framelits Tag Collection dies.

Anna-Karin made a card this week, using mainly Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember products, such as the and Picture Book Panda die and Christmas Sweater Background stamp.

Barbara has created a Home Decor for Halloween by using Tim Holtz Idea-ology HALLOWEEN BASEBOARDS Papers, Mini Paper Stash HALLOWEEN Papers,  Ideaology FRINGE and  Sizzix LAYERED JACK-O-LANTERN.

Cathie created a card using the Hero Arts Stars Pattern and Crafter’s Workshop Art Is to create her galaxy background. The silver dimensional stars are from the Tim Holtz Dimensional Stars die painted with Brushed Pewter Distress Paint.

Emma was inspired by the lyrics of a Coldplay song which she has written in the stars using the Deco Alpha die and Alphanumeric Thin die. She used an Etcetera tag as the base for her scene before adding the Tim Holtz Trick Or Treat and surrounding the figures with glittered Stacked Stars.

Kath used Tim Holtz/Sizzix Crescent Moon and Stars BigZ die, Haunted House, Village Graveyard and Vintage Spirits Thinlits to create a spooky starry night scene on her Halloween Art Journal Page

Lols decorated a page in her Art Journal using Distress Oxide Inks, a Mosaic Stars Stencil , Stacked Stars Die Cuts and various ink sprays to create a whole galaxy.

Macarena was inspired by the amazing totally solar eclipse which was in August and she made a starry card using Sizzix Dimensional Stars. For the planets she used leftovers from SSS Ring Frame die and she applies some SSS Stacked Stars on the sky. The background is all the Distress Oxide coloring. 

Maura was inspired by a song to create her home decor piece with Alcohol Inks, Dina Wakley’s Moon Faces stencil, Yupo paper, and Cosmic Shimmer Harvest Moon Gilding Flakes. 

Meihsia was inspired to create a Halloween mixed media canvas and used Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Moon and Stars and Idea-Ology Halloween Ephemera Pack to decorate it.

Sandra went for a outerspace kind of theme with her card using Distress Oxides for the background along with the Stars stencil with Pure Platinum Nuvo Mouse and the Seth Apter Triplex die

Zoey used The Crafter’s Workshop stencil to add different textures in the background that she colored using Distress ink and gold watercolor.
