The Adventures of Henry the Elf

projectlife121513

Hi bloggers! Happy Sunday to you! If you’re anything like millions of families around the world you may just own an Elf on the Shelf. This sweet tradition started with the intent of keeping those kiddos that are so excited for Christmas very well behaved over the holiday season by reminding them that this elf works for Santa and will be reporting back!

Kristina Proffitt does another amazing job of showing how gorgeous and fun making Project Life albums can be by showing us a couple years of fun & Elf on a Shelf in her home over the holidays! Since it is Die-Cember™, I’d also like to point out how fun it is to incorporate die cuts into your pages as well. Notice the “Be“, Petite Tree, & Life Bubble? They really make the pages POP even more!

Anyhow, enjoy!

Designer Notes:

When it comes to mini albums I like to keep it simple from the beginning. Start off having all of the photos you want to put in the mini album already printed out – whether you do it at home or somewhere else. Sizing them all 4×6 is perfect for these great mini albums because then you can either stick them into the 4×6 slots or trim them down (or cut them in half) for the 3×4 slots. I love to stick my photos all in first and then go back and add some blank journaling cards and filler cards where I want them. Then lastly I go back and add the journaling and then just embellish here and there. Having a coordinating kit like the Merry & Bright Project Life® kit is perfect because you don’t have to spend a lot of time going back and forth trying to coordinate everything.
