For my first card, I used a newly released Wavy Scallop Stitches Dies as my main supply. I 1) Die cut scallop borders from colored card stocks using Wavy Scallop Stitches Dies. 2) Stamped tiny images on the die cuts using embossing ink, clear heat embossed. 3) Stamped ‘You are awesome’ with embossing ink, white heat embossed. 4) Die cut feathers from the white card stock using Pointed Feathers Die, added the silver touches. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to the card base, embellished some clear sequins.

For my second card, I made shaker card with the Friendship Butterflies set. I 1) Blended on the watercolour panel with Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean Distress inks using mini blending tool, trimmed it with Simon Says Stamp Stitches Rectangles Die. 2) Added some water droplets, white ink splatters and then decorated with twines. 3) Die cut a butterfly from top portion of the watercoloured panel using Friendship Butterflies Dies. 4) Added mixed sequins inside the butterfly shaped window, placed the butterfly window panel on top. 5) Die cut ‘Thanks’ from the white card stock using Simon Says Stamp Thanks Die, adhered it to card.

  1. Yoonsun is so very talented! I adore her first card using the scalloped stitched dies – what a fun design! And her lovely colors on the 2nd card are wonderful!

  2. Awesome cards, Yoosun. Love how you made the di cut card stock fit perfectly together in your first card and the gorgeous design and inking of your shaker card:)

  3. Both of her cards are so pretty, I love the colors of both! I her technique on the first one. Thank you

  4. Both of these are brilliant. Cant decide which I love more. I think it would have to be the butterfly but only cause butterflies are the best anyway. So clever using the dies that way. Must try this idea. Wonderful, just perfect.
