Hello everyone! It’s Nina-Marie here with you today, sharing an easy interactive card idea that also features products from My Favorite Things!

Interactive cards are so much fun to not only make, but also to give… I personally love seeing the look on the recipient’s face when they see a card do something completely unexpected! In today’s video I am going to be showing you how I created a pop-up panel inside of a card; these pop up panels are also commonly known as “explosion cards”. It’s easy enough for kids to create, and all you need is a piece of paper to make one!

For these cards, I used products from My Favorite Things and Simon Says Stamp. The pig stamp and sentiment are from the My Favorite Things Hog Heaven stamp set; I also used their Basic Stitch Lines dies to add stitching detail to the edges of the card bases. The cards are also decorated using the new Love and Quotes stamp set and Love Is background stamp, both from Simon Says Stamp. All these products matched up perfectly together and created really cute Valentines!

  1. These cards make me happier than a pig rolling in the mud! So adorable and fun!! These would be great for my granddaughter to bring to school to share with her classmates! Thanks for the inspiration! Happy New Year!

  2. It’s a 10 on the cuteness scale! You’ve added detail without it being over the top, by using subtle shades. I can learn a lot from you. The origami touch is perfect for a suprise!
