Paper Crafter’s Library Feature

papercrafterslibrary

Hello and happy Wednesday! We are excited to be featured on the Paper Crafter’s Library today, with a card created by me! ;)

Here is a little sneak peek of the card:

PCLSneak

Make sure to check out their post here to see the entire card and get the details on how it was created.

I thought it would be fun to create a second card to share on this post that features the same design, colours and stamp sets that I used for the PCL feature. I love when I come up with a design I love and can use it for multiple cards! ;)

Princess

This card uses the new Princess and Married stamp sets from the newest Simon release called Pure Sunshine. I stamped and coloured the princess with Copic markers and then added her to the exact same card design as the PCL featured card.

To create the overlay on her skirt, I stamped and heat embossed it on vellum, cut it out and glued it onto the princess. And since it covers her hands when you do it that way, I actually stamped her twice and cut her in half so I could piece her back together! ;)

  1. Pretty card for a bride or any little princess. Her skirt overlay and hands were what I noticed first so I am glad you gave your tip for doing that.

  2. What a fantastic idea. I can’t wait to try it myself. This is a great card for my granddaughter’s birthday.

  3. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!! AMAZING Cards for today!! CONGRATS on being featured at the Paper Crafter’s Library Blog!! I look forward to seeing more about the First Card!! THANKS for sharing and for the chance to win!! Have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)

  4. These cards are great–I’m invited to a wedding at Disneyland in September, thinking I need to make a “princess” themed wedding card, as the bridesmaids will be dressed in the various “princess” colors.

  5. This is a wow card the color is beautiful and the vellum really adds such an elegant touch but it is the construction of this card that is really amazing tfs!

  6. What a beautiful card!! I’m having a little trouble picturing how you did the overlay so if you feel like doing a video on it, I would appreciate it. I think I get it, though. :)

  7. Beautiful card! I love the use of the velum and the copic colouring is great. Thanks for the inspiration!

  8. CONGRATULATIONS on having your card featured Stephanie!!!
I have extrapolated your sneak peek using the BEAUTIFUL card you have shared and decided it must be DELIGHTFUL, looking forward to seeing!!! LOVE your princess, she is so beautifully coloured and I LOVE her GORGEOUS vellum overlay – WOW – SO CLEVER and such pretty paper piecing too!!!
THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION :)

  9. Stephanie, I just adore these cards! The silver embossing you did on the girl’s dress is just amazing…it really makes it look like she has a sheer overlay on her dress!
