Midnight Green in a nutshell is a nice deep pine green. It’s great for the holidays but even better for Masculine cards! I’ve paired it up with other colors that go well when making manly style projects like oranges and other natural tones.  Reminds me of Boy Scouts and nature! I’ve shot a quick video of the walkthrough.

Here’s a quick “guy card” I made using the the Midnight Green and Khaki card stocks. I cut the Simon Says Stamp “You” from a panel and layered up some of the papers from the My Mind’s Eye All Spice paper pad.

I used the Thickers Letters to start off my saying and tied them onto the card with some Tim Holtz Jute String.

No frills, just the way a guy likes it!

  1. Midnight Green is a great outdoorsy, masculine color. Thanks for finding papers and twine that match so well.

  2. GORGEOUS green – LOVE IT … of course it helps that green is my favourite colour :)
LOVE your coordinates Shari and your COOL card too!!!
THANK YOU for the inspiration and temptation, I struggle with masculine cards and as I’m just starting out in the world of machine die cutting with a Big Shot, I have a lot of word dies on my wish list!!!

  3. I’m always on the look out for masculine type products and ideas. I like to remember the guys in my life–they just don’t like all the frills.

  4. Shari what a great color and you picked out some really great product to use with it. Your card is awesome I especially love the letters you weaved the linen twine through!
