Magnolia + Copic Coloring

Hi readers! Happy Thursday to you! Today I’m happy to welcome guest designer Liz Marsden to the blog and share some fun Magnolia themed cards on the blog today! Have you ever tried their doohickey’s? They’re Magnolia’s wafer thin dies and they come in all kinds of lovely designs!

Hi Liz here, with a couple of cards to show you using some of my favorite stamps by Magnolia.  I love to create using texture, depth and interest, so  I use dies, embellishments, and layers were possible.  I also love to distress the edges of my papers either with ink or a distressing tool, or both. I also love to cut the image out as in the window card and just love the way she’s peeping out as if to say “hi”. Happy Crafting!

  1. These are way beyond my skill level as well, but gives me something to reach for! AMAZING and ADORABLE!!

  2. Such beautiful cards. Little Magnolia is so sweet and the coloring of the image is wonderful. I love the use of the die cuts and little flowers. With a name like Magnolia, there has to be flowers. Your background papers are perfect. And that cute little face peeing out the window is adorable. GREAT JOB!! TFS

  3. These cards look so beautiful. I can tell they took many steps. Thank you for sharing your talent.. Doohickeys are amazing dies……they should be for the $$$. TFS

  4. These two cards are just stunningly gorgeous!! The Tilda peeping through the window may just be my favourite though!! And I’m a Sagittarius!! Lol!!!

  5. Wow…those are some very intricate cards! I love the coloring and wish I could do something half as talented as that!
