I find watercoloring a bit daunting and I always want to go for the perfect stroke, but this design shows you don’t have to make it neat to be beautiful

Such great cards! I love ink smooshing, but haven’t actually used acetate to transfer from the craft mat – love the different look it creates and how “intentional” the pattern can be this way.
Love the fact that this technique gives you more control on the final result. I am going to try it ASAP.

I enjoyed both videos. You had me laughing with the hot pink overalls, I had a pair of hot pink velvet bell bottoms, I actually picked out the material and made them. Yikes!

I’ve seen this smooshing technique before, but never tried it. I wasn’t happy using an acrylic block because of the edges, but I see how different it is to use the pliable acetate instead–gonna give it a try!

SUCH ADORABLE stamps and cards! Ive not yet tried ink smoothing but Kelly’s technique seems to be the easiest one to follow and I love that it seems to offer me more control of the smoothing part.
Everything you do, I have a gut reaction of “I want to try that!” (Think Liz Lemon “I want to go to there!”) I love seeing you create, and I really appreciate all the time you take to explain what you’re doing. You’ve taught me so much because you take the time to do that and not skip over the “obvious” parts.
PS I realize this the linguist in me, but I think all good crafting videos involve a discussion of grammar and how one pronounces things.
