It’s that time again… Friday where I show you another Simon Color Coordinate! This was bound to happen early on… one of my favorites because it’s neutral… and what a beautiful neutral it is…Khaki!

Hemptique Harvest Natural Hemp Cord

Copic Sketch Marker Brick Beige E31

This was an easy selection process for me, a neutral such as Khaki can go with so many things. I found product that you can mix and match with each other to make a variety of combinations.

Here’s a video of the walkthrough and a little explanation of my card. Enjoy!

Working with Khaki is a lot like wearing a well worn pair of jeans, goes with everything and they fit great! I chose to pull together muted colors of gold, and orange… just because they make me happy! I’ve created a little frame by using the Medium Tag Die backed with a piece of acetate and layering it with Happy Birthday.

I created loops of Hemptique orange cord to accent the Prima Flower. I also placed a few We R Memory Keeps enamel dots peeking out from the tag frame for a darker touch of color!  I also snuck in a couple little hearts by stamping the Love Languages stamp set with Khaki ink.

Those Prima flowers in particular, are gorgeous(ly grungy) and I love your tip for lining the frame with acetate, to make adhering the delicate birthday greeting easier and more stable.
