Christmas Countdown!
Hi bloggers! Happy Monday to you! Okay, okay, I know. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet. But I’m REALLY getting into the Christmas spirit earlier than usual this year and so I’m so excited to share this fun & festive countdown project idea from the talented and sweet Jess Larsen!
This special season only comes once a year so be sure enjoy it all month long, the holidays are so much more than one day a year!
I can’t help but act like a little kid when it comes to Christmas. It is all so fun. The decorations, the food, the presents and the family time make me incredibly happy! So, what’s a better way to get geared up for the season than a good old fashioned Christmas countdown!
I created this project using an Ikea frame and lots of Simon goodies. First, I stamped the Simple Letter Outline stamps to spell “Christmas Countdown” and colored them using Copic markers (on sale now!). Then I took some papers from the Peace Joy Love 6×6 pad from Lawn Fawn and die cut Simon’s Eliza and Kate snowflakes. A few sequins and some glitter later and this project was finished! I popped it into the frame and will be using a dry erase marker to count down the days. It easily erases off of the glass using a damp cloth.
I created a start to finish video sharing the whole process, so you all can count down to the big day as well!
