Call for Cards

cardcall
Greetings crafty friends!

We believe that cards have power. Sending an old friend a handmade happy birthday card, reminding someone that you are always there for them, thanking mom for the hard work and love she put into making you who you are today, and telling a friend that when they cry, you cry too. Isn’t that why we make cards? We are enthusiastic about sharing our craft with the people who touch our lives. Cards are the heart of our community!

Simon loves to mail cards to our community of friends. We mail cards every single day! Friends and family all around the world celebrate birthdays, need thanked, congratulated, and need to know someone is thinking of them! As we gain new friends through our business it becomes harder to keep up with all the special events, so we need your help. :) For many years we have worked to hand make cards in our office but the time has finally come where we simply cannot keep up. The idea sparked to ask if any of you had extra cards you’d like us to help share with others.

Every day we are inspired by the cards you have created and we would like if you joined in our call for cards. We are hosting a mail call for your handmade greeting cards! If you are interested, please send us your latest works making sure to include your name and address with your card. It would be lovely if you could add your email address onto a slip of paper in your parcel.

Since we will be mailing your cards to fellow crafters often, we encourage you to stamp your name and blog info on the back of your cards. We will showcase and share some of your gifted cards on our blog!

If you have handmade cards you’d like us to help share, please mail to:

Thank you so much for your support! We are especially in the need of Birthday cards. We are very lucky to be in such a caring industry and appreciate all you do to keep our community alive!

  1. Hi! I have a big box of beautiful cards I’d love to send you! I don’t have any envelopes for the cards, since some are unusual shapes and sizes. Would you like them anyway? Most of them can be used for any occasion, especially birthdays!
    Take care!
    Michele

  2. What a great shout-out! I have always loved that you send a card when a person wins some blog candy. I will see what I have on hand. Thanks for asking.

  3. I am the card queen in my family !! I do cards for everyone!! I love celebrations of all kinds and cards for every occasion! Now can we request for these cards to be mailed out from your company to our family and friends too? And is this free to send you our cards and to get cards to mail to our loved ones too.

  4. I will try to get some out to you. My family collects toys throughout the year to take to the hospital at Christmas time to send some comfort to the patients and families during their stay over the holidays. Our oldest daughter began the tradition donating toys after the loss of our youngest daughter. We have since been collecting & making cards to add to the toys that we deliver. A card has always been a great way of putting a smile on someone’s face and letting them know that someone cares and is thinking of them.

  5. I just received one of these cards from your previous calls, and it was the most thoughful and kind gesture!! I am going to send cards in this time for sure!

  6. I would love to take part in this,
I know how much a card can mean, as I had a heart attack and then open heart surgery six months later with some major issues, spending several months in the hospital. I still do not have the steadiness to teach art and painting, so I turned my efforts into card making and stamping, a whole new direction for me. My website is not updated yet, I’m working on updating and adding the new line to it. I hope you get a great response for this.

  7. Hi I am from Australia – would you like some cards from over here? I love making cards and get together with some other ladies – just for fun – would love to help out if you want us too.
