Altenew February 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Altenew February blog hop

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the Altenew February release as part of their blog hop. If you’ve come from Virginia Lu’s blog, then you’re in the right place!

I’ve created a card using the Wings of Hope stamps and coordinating dies. These flowers are stamped using Simon Says Stamp Teeny Bikini and Twirling Tutu inks. I also stamped a variety of leaves on Neenah white and Desert Storm cardstocks using white and gold embossing powders.

I die cut all the pieces using the Altenew Mini Blossom die cutting machine and then arranged them together using a bit of foam tape on a white panel for my card.

I have filmed a video of the full process which you can view below or on our YouTube channel HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy all the inspiration in todays hop.

  1. Such an inspirational card Shari! I loved your tips on creating the stems and buds using the different ink and embossed parts – great idea – superb results for a delicate finish that takes your eyes over the entire card. Thank you so very much for taking the time to share a video with us.

  2. This set works so perfectly with your personal style, Shari! I love the palette you put together and how you used these relatively abstract shapes to create a beautiful bouquet. Thank you, as always for sharing your creativity with us!

  3. Those soft colors are just perfect for spring. I love the card – such a modern and elegant feeling to it. Beautiful! Gotta love Altenew!
