Altenew February 2018 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Altenew February blog hop

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate the Altenew February release as part of their blog hop. If you’ve come from Virginia Lu’s blog, then you’re in the right place!

I’ve created a card using the Wings of Hope stamps and coordinating dies. These flowers are stamped using Simon Says Stamp Teeny Bikini and Twirling Tutu inks. I also stamped a variety of leaves on Neenah white and Desert Storm cardstocks using white and gold embossing powders.

Shari Carroll, Altenew Blog Hop

I die cut all the pieces using the Altenew Mini Blossom die cutting machine and then arranged them together using a bit of foam tape on a white panel for my card.

I have filmed a video of the full process which you can view below or on our YouTube channel HERE.

  1. My niece would so totally love this card! She loves pink. I’m not apposed to pink but I love a lot of colors. I love how you used the gold embossing on your card and how you used a die cutter to cut everything out. I wish I had a die cutter.
I love the new releases and the flower ones are part of my faves. I love flowers and how colorful they are. However, so do the mutant ninja squirrels in my yard so either they grow and get ruined or they don’t even grow because they get dug up. Stamps are the only flowers that the ninja squirrels can’t ruin! LOL I am also someone who loves to do embroidery so I love the cross stitch stamp. When I win, I want both of them! Thanks for showing us your pretty card and for giving us the chance to win something.
